Lightsaber? I don’t even know her!
In the Star Wars universe, she’s one of the most powerful Jedis left, fighting against the First Order. She can lift rocks, save her friends, and still defend herself against the powers of the dark side. Outside of portraying Rey in movies like The Rise of Skywalker, Daisy Ridley is a fan of Drag Race just like everybody else.
After much anticipation, this actress finally made her debut on the judge’s panel for this reality competition series. She was joined by Ross Matthews, Michelle Visage, and of course, RuPaul herself. (Daisy Ridley shared that she even had a chance to walk into the Werk Room. We have one thing to say: yes, queen. Work.)
Daisy Ridley went backstage for ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked’
As with a few of the judges already on the series, Daisy Ridley went backstage to talk with the contestants and their drag daughters for RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked. There, she touched upon her portrayal of Rey in the Star Wars sequel trilogy and her appreciation for the drag performers on this series.
Other guest judges already highlighted during season 12 includes Nicki Minaj, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Jeff Goldblum, Robyn, and Chaka Khan. Reportedly, Whoppi Goldberg will make an appearance in the next episode of the series. Until then, Star Wars and Drag Race fans look forward to new content premiering on May 4.
