Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola pursued her passion after ‘Jersey Shore’

When Jersey Shore: Family Vacation was announced, many fans were disappointed to learn Giancola would not return. She took to Instagram to explain her decision, writing:

I have chosen not to join the show this season because I am at a completely different place in my life right now, focusing on my businesses and relationship. I am not the same person as I was when I was 22. At 31, I am currently extremely happy in every aspect of my life and want to avoid potentially TOXIC SITUATIONS.

Instead, Giancola stepped out of the reality television spotlight and focused on her passion. In 2013, Giancola introduced a clothing and accessories line, Sweetheart Styles. The online boutique offers clothing, accessories, and home decor “perfect for any fashionista.”

Sweetheart Styles currently boasts 147,000 followers on Instagram. That number is expected to grow in 2021 when Giancola introduces another brand.

Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ is bringing ‘Jersey Shore’ fans Sweetheart Coast in 2021

Giancola will launch Sweetheart Coast in 2021. At this time, not much is known about Giancola’s upcoming venture. There is a Twitter profile associated with the brand with posts encouraging fans to follow the account for updates.

Based on the name and imagery, Giancola will likely offer beach-related clothing and accessories through Sweetheart Coast.

The link in Sweetheart Coast’s Twitter bio takes fans to the Sweetheart Styles site, leading many people to believe Sweetheart Coast will be a brand that falls under the umbrella of Giancola’s original boutique.

Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola might have another big event in 2021

In March 2019, Giancola got engaged to Christian Biscardi. The two had been planning for a 2020 wedding, but the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic put their nuptials at a standstill. Their original wedding date was allegedly early in 2020, as hinted at by Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi in an April 2020 interview In Touch Weekly.

Shortly after Polizzi’s interview, a source close to Giancola spoke with Us Weekly about the wedding, saying it was “postponed until September.” Unfortunately, the wedding didn’t happen in September, either. With the year drawing to a close, Giancola and Biscardi will likely tie the knot sometime in 2021 when it is safe to do so.

Will the ‘Jersey Shore’ cast be invited to Sammi ‘Sweetheart’s wedding?

Though Giancola holds no ill-will toward her Jersey Shore castmates, it’s unlikely they’ll be invited to the wedding. Vinny Guadagnino told Us Weekly he and his roommates have little contact with Giancola — they really only speak with her when a “big life event” happens. That includes birthdays and, at the time of the interview, her engagement.

Pauly DelVecchio also spoke to the Jersey Shore cast’s relationship with Giancola, admitting they still consider her “part of the fam.”

“She’s always welcome,” Guadaginino concluded.

At this time, there hasn’t been an update on when Giancola will officially tie the knot. Still, even if she wanted to invite her Jersey Shore cohorts to her big day, the coronavirus pandemic will likely force Giancola to cut back on her guest list significantly.
