Though they are rich and famous, just like regular people, celebrities have neighbors too. It was Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s neighborly status that initially brought the love birds together.

Oprah Winfrey, a woman of many homes and even more successes, has one property in Santa Barbara that is reportedly right next to the famous actor Rob Lowe’s home. Once, while living in the same Tribeca complex, Meryl Streep actually used Gwyneth Paltrow’s kitchen to cook Thanksgiving dinner. Best Life has shared some stories behind the neighborly VIPs, and Sandra Bullock is another well-known celebrity with an incredibly popular neighbor.

Sandra Bullock lives down the street from Ricky Martin

Bullock’s fans might have been pleasantly surprised to learn that the Oscar-winning actor has a neighbor many didn’t know about: Ricky Martin. In an interview with WIRED, Bullock, accompanied by her recent co-star Channing Tatum, answered some of the web’s most searched questions when it comes to the two actors.

When asked what music videos Tatum has been in, the Magic Mike actor shockingly revealed that the music video for Martin’s “She Bangs” was his first. Both shocked and excited, Bullock responded by sharing that Martin is actually her neighbor. Many viewers enjoyed watching Bullock and Tatum come to the surprising revelations.

A look at some of Sandra Bullock’s other famous neighbors

Similar to other successful celebrities, naturally, Bullock has many properties, but the home that shares close corners with Martin isn’t Bullock’s only house surrounded by A-listers.

Bullock’s Malibu home, which is valued at just under $9 million, puts her in close proximity to fellow stars such as Halle Berry. Though he recently sold his Malibu-beach property, Bullock also used to be able to consider Matthew Perry as a neighborly face. Closer Weekly outlined some of the exciting details behind Bullock’s real estate adventures.

Oddly enough, it seems like part of the reason Bullock has acquired so many homes is due to the star’s interest in investing. Not too long ago the New York Post shared that she acquired yet another property but with the intention of using it as a “rental property”.
