Sandra Oh Reveals a Huge ‘Killing Eve’ Spoiler
Killing Eve is the type of show that always keeps fans on the edge of their seats. And Sandra Oh is at the center of it all, portraying Eve Polastri in the show. Season 2 left us on a cliffhanger, as Villanelle shoots Eve and leaves her. But what will happen to the fan-favorite spy?
Warning: there are spoilers ahead for Killing Eve season 3, so if you’d rather not know what happens, stop reading now. However, if you’d like to be spoiled and find out what Sandra Oh revealed about season 3, keep reading.
What is Eve Polastri like, according to Oh?
In an interview with Porter, Sandra Oh mentions that the role of Eve is a “challenging” one. Perhaps “the most challenging of her career.” Why? Well, it all has to do with what Eve is going through.
According to Oh, “a lot of the time [she feels] Eve is fighting.” That is something that Oh herself can relate to, and probably a lot of fans as well. The actress believes that the show has a lot to do with “the depth of being seen” and a lot of “psychological depths she has to plumb.” She wonders if that’s why the show has struck a chord with so many people, especially women.
Oh understands how fans can relate to Eve. According to her, “Eve is changing, and the deeper you go, the deeper the resonance can be.” We all go through many changes throughout our lives, though perhaps not as intense as Eve’s. That constant changing and growing makes her easy to relate to.
What did Sandra Oh reveal about ‘Killing Eve’ Season 3?
As Oh puts it, “so, obviously [she] didn’t die.” Yet what does that mean for season 3? According to the actress, season 3 of the show “is basically about coming back after that, emotionally.” Sounds like Oh will reach some new “psychological depths” with her acting.
And fans are likely looking forward to seeing Oh again and watching as Eve continues to change and grow.
What else can fans look forward to in season 3 of ‘Killing Eve’?
Oh didn’t reveal much to the interviewer from Porter after dropping some spoilers about Eve’s fate. Yet she did hint at other actors filming in some exciting places. According to the actress, “they are shooting [another storyline] elsewhere. [She] won’t tell you where; it’s fantastic!”
Sounds interesting! According to Oh, she “can’t believe [she] can’t go.” Hopefully, Killing Eve will have many more seasons, and Oh will get to film in many exciting places as the show goes on.
The role of Eve is a good one, though it is “challenging.” Hopefully, Eve will get to challenge Oh and delight fans for a long time. In any case, fans can definitely look forward to seeing Eve and Oh again in season 3 of the show. Fans love watching her get into and out of trouble.
And hopefully they will be able to do so for quite a while.
