Though fans were alarmed when the pair began dating in 2017, Scott Disick and Sofia Richie are still going strong years later. The model was just 18 when she began dating Disick who is 15 years her senior. Not only did the pairing cause confusion for Richie’s family, especially her father, Lionel Richie — the KarJenner clan wasn’t too pleased about it either.
Richie has been a good friend with Kylie Jenner for the majority of her life. Therefore, since Disick was in a long-term relationship with Jenner’s older sister, Kourtney Kardashian, and the pair share three children together, there was a ton of awkwardness.
Luckily, Disick, Kardashian, and Richie have a respectful relationship that has healthy boundaries and transparency. In fact, after almost three years of dating, Disick just followed Richie on Instagram, which means they may be ready to take their relationship to the next level.

Things have really heated up between the model and the Flip It Like Disick star. In summer 2019 an alleged insider told US Weekly, “They’ve talked seriously about getting engaged.” However, rumors also swirled that Disick was holding off with Richie until Kardashian was happily settled.
“Scott loves Sofia and feels that marriage and children are a thing down the line but Scott would feel more comfortable for all that to happen if Kourtney would be married before them,” an insider explained to Hollywood Life. ” Scott feels that he would hurt Kourtney and the kids feelings if he is married and Kourtney isn’t. Scott is aware that many would think that it was potentially a weird thing to feel that way since Scott and Kourtney are no longer romantic but that is what is going through Scott‘s mind. He doesn’t want it to look like an excuse even though some might feel that it is absolutely an excuse. Its just Scott‘s frame of mind and will likely determine his future with Sofia in the marriage and children department.”

Though they’ve been together for quite some time, Disick just began following Richie in February 2020. “Scott never followed Sofia on Instagram in the past because it really wasn’t something that ever occurred to him and it had nothing to do with his feelings for her,” a source told Hollywood Life. “Scott looks at social media as a means for networking and promoting his clothing line, Talentless. He posts the occasional personal photo, but when he does it’s usually of his kids.”
