Selena Gomez is just full of surprises during her Rare era. After four years, she has finally released fan-favorite song, “Feel Me” which she first sang for fans when she was on her Revival tour. But, that’s just the latest gift that Gomez has given her fans. In the past several months, Gomez has announced a new beauty line, Rare Beauty, released her third solo studio album, Rare, and surprised her fans with two unexpected music videos. It’s clear that Gomez truly is finally in “a sweeter place.”

Selena Gomez introduced fans to Feel Me on the Revival tour

Before Gomez released the tracklist for Rare, Selenators (Gomez’s most loyal fans) were convinced that “Feel Me” would make the cut. Even though the singer had only sung the tune for fans in concert, leaked copies were distributed on the Internet. The reaction to the song was overwhelmingly positive. People could relate to the story that the lyrics told of being a scorned lover and hoping that your ex would never be able to move on from you completely.

Selenators begged for Feel Me during the Rare listening party

Even when Gomez dropped Rare without “Feel Me”, fans still held on to hope. During the actress’ Rare Listening Patry, where she answered questions about the album from her fans on Twitter, she was asked about the song multiple times. “@selenagomez is there any possibility that you can release Feel me?” one fan questioned. Gomez went on to share that the song wasn’t aligned with her life at the moment and she had no intention of releasing it.

“That song was from when I was in a different place and doesn’t fit with where I am right now,” the Wizards of Waverly Place alum tweeted out. Needless to say, fans weren’t thrilled about Gomez’s response and still begged for “Feel Me” to be released in any capacity. “Can we still have an unofficial released studio version though? we’ve been waiting :( #RareListeningParty” one person questioned.

Gomez surprised fans on Instagram and Twitter

But, Gomez seems to have changed her tune about “Feel Me” or at the very least just wanted to give her loyal fans a surprise. Earlier today, the “Lose You To Love Me” songstress took to her social media profiles to give fans a huge gift. “On the Revival Tour, I introduced a song that you guys haven’t stopped talking about since. Soo you asked and I listened 😘 Today, Feel Me is out online and vinyl everywhere 🖤,” the 27-year-old wrote.

Fans are obsessed with the lyrics

Of course, fans were overjoyed to finally have a studio-quality version of “Feel Me” and made their opinions know immediately. “This song is such a bop! So glad you decided to release it!! 🖤” one fan wrote. “Selena has left this era, I haven’t. This makes me so happy. Even for myself. God knows this song will soon become MY most played and I actually love all the other songs on the album,” another fan chimed in. Others felt that releasing the song spoke to Gomez’s healing. “I feel like Selena is getting everything from the past out so she can continue to move foward! 💛 I cant wait for everything she has coming!” a fan shared on YouTube.

Will Gomez ever release Stained

While some fans were rejoicing in the fact that they no longer had to download the live version of “Feel Me” on YouTube, others were posing questions about “Stained”. To recap, “Stained” was another song Gomez introduced fans to on the Revival tour that never made it to the album. “Drop stained and my Selenator heart would be playing it every single day, but finally I can listen to feel me on Spotify 😍😍😍” one person shared. Who knows if Gomez will surprise fans yet again with “Stained”, but for now they seem content with “Feel Me”
