Singer Selena Gomez made history when she announced her collaboration with K-pop group Blackpink. Bringing together fans across genres is something she’s familiar with, as she’s no strange to collaborations. Here’s a look at her chart-topping songs, including the one single she performed with ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas.

Selena Gomez songs that charted on Billboard Hot 100

Gomez has eight hits that made it into the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Of those, five feature her as the only artist. The singer scored her first No. 1 hit with her 2019 single “Lose You to Love Me,” which spent 23 weeks on the chart.

Gomez’s additional top 10 solo hits are: “Same Old Love,” which peaked at No. 5 and spent 28 weeks on the chart; “Come & Get It,” which peaked at No. 6 and spent 22 weeks on the chart; “The Heart Wants What It Wants,” which peaked at No. 6 and spent 20 weeks on the chart; and “Hands to Myself,” which peaked at No. 7 and spent 20 weeks on the chart.

She dated Disney actor Nick Jonas for a couple of years

Before achieving this success as a singer, Gomez was best known as an actor. She starred in the Disney Channel series Wizards of Waverly Place, which aired on the network from 2007-2012. During this time, she also released music with a band, Selena Gomez & the Scene.

Gomez rose to prominence along with other notable pop stars, some of whom were on Disney with her. She even dated one of them. Gomez was linked to fellow actor and the Jonas Brothers band member Nick Jonas from around 2008-2010. When they broke up, she began dating Justin Bieber.

Getting back to the numbers, Gomez has more than 30 songs that have charted on the Billboard Hot 100. (Note: Her songs with Selena Gomez & the Scene, seven of which charted, are considered solo efforts.) The remaining three on the list of those that made it into the top 10 are collaborations.

They are as follows: Gomez’s song with Kygo, “It Ain’t Me,” spent 29 weeks on the chart, peaking at No. 10. The remix of her single “Good For You,” which features ASAP Rocky, spent 26 weeks on the chart, charting at No. 5. And Charlie Puth’s single “We Don’t Talk Anymore,” on which she is a featured artist, spent 24 weeks on the chart, peaking at No. 9.

For those who are wracking their brains trying to think of a Selena Gomez-Nick Jonas collaboration, the song in question isn’t what may be expected. The pair worked with Jonas’ bandmates Kevin and Joe Jonas, as well as other Disney stars Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus, on the track.

“Send It On,” a charity single released to aid environmental organizations, was released more than a decade ago on August 11, 2009. A music video (above) accompanied it. The single peaked at No. 20 on the Billboard Hot 100, spending five weeks on the chart.
