Quinn and Potratz’s personalities have caused them to clash with fellow cast members, leading many fans to label the two women as “mean.”

Christine Quinn and Davina Potratz have been portrayed as antagonists in a few story lines

While Potratz was not present in much of season 1, Quinn has been a huge part of Selling Sunset since the very beginning.

During the first episode, Quinn described herself as “a little bit cold” but “always honest.” Fans saw this when Chrishell Stause first joined the office and Quinn quickly made judgments about her outfit and personality.

Potratz had more appearances on season 2, with her most prominent story line being a conflict between her and Stause. It didn’t take long before Quinn sided with Potratz and went against Stause as well.

The tension between Quinn and Potratz and other agents in the office, such as Stause and Mary Fitzgerald, continued on season 3. Quinn and Potratz have often been potrayed as antagonists in these story lines, with some fans even comparing them to “mean girls” in high school.

An alleged crew member revealed what Christine Quinn and Davina Potratz are like in real life

Someone who claims to be a crew member on the set of Selling Sunset recently visited Reddit to answer many fan questions about the show.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, a number of viewers wondered about the cast members’ in-real-life personalities. The alleged crew member shared, “Of course everyone is human and has good or bad days and things are edited, but the cast IS exactly how they come across on the show.”

Some fans even specifically asked about whether Quinn and Potratz are actually like how they are portrayed on Selling Sunset.

Speaking about Quinn, the alleged crew member said, “Christine is nice to us but so rude about other cast members. She also posted a private text with one of our senior producers on her Twitter a while ago.”

However, the person claimed Potratz is “not purposefully mean” and speculated more on why Potratz is potrayed as an antagonist on the show.

“Davina is awkward but isn’t purposefully mean, like how Christine is,” the alleged crew member said. “Davina is just trying to be like Christine but can’t pull it off.”

Opposite of Quinn and Potratz is Stause, an actress-turned-real-estate-agent from Kentucky. Whereas Quinn and Potratz have been called “mean” by viewers, Stause is known to fans as the “nice” girl in the office.

According to the alleged crew member on Reddit, Stause’s personality is just as “nice” in real life.

“Yes she is super nice,” the person said. “During season 1 she was used to scripted soap operas so she expected certain things and she had moments. But she’s professional and always on time and always nice to the crew. She was even nicer and more chill after the divorce TBH. I think she felt pressure to protect her ex-husbands reputation.”
