Selling Sunset is back. After a long break, Netflix just announced that the show has been renewed for two more seasons. While the women of The Oppenheim Group have yet to resume filming, star Mary Fitzgerald recently spoke to Showbiz Cheat Sheet and told us what we could expect from Selling Sunset season 4.

What happened on ‘Selling Sunset’ Season 3?

Selling Sunset season 3 was probably the most dramatic season yet. We saw one marriage come to an end and one couple walk down the aisle. Chrishell Stause’s marriage to This Is Us star Justin Hartley ended abruptly when Hartley surprised Stause by telling her over the phone that he was filing for divorce. Most of the women on the show rallied around Stause while Davina Potratz and Christine Quinn chose to take Hartley’s side.

What has happened since season 3 ended?

A lot has happened since season 3 filmed. Stause competed on Dancing with the Stars and began dating dance pro Keo Motsepe. The two have since gone their separate ways.

There have also been big life changes among the cast. Quinn announced her pregnancy and Heather Rae Young got engaged to her boyfriend Tarek El Moussa. But perhaps the biggest change is that Portraz left the firm.

I don’t really talk to her one-on-one that much and then a lot of people haven’t been in the office because of COVID,” Fitzgerald told us of Portraz’s exit. “So I know that Jason had mentioned that she had some sort of an opportunity at a different brokerage. I don’t know. From what I understand, she is planning to come back, but I’m not positive on that. I think there was a specific opportunity that she was trying to pursue.”

There have also been reports that Brett Openheim left the firm as well, but Fitzgerald said that isn’t 100% true.

“Brett isn’t really gone,” Fitzgerald told us. “He still works on stuff. He has his license hung on his own because he’s also a broker. He’s still very much a part of our network, our group of friends. We are like a family and he’s very much a part of our lives.”

What can we expect from ‘Selling Sunset’ season 4?

In addition to getting engaged, Young moved to Orange County so she may be moving branches as well.

What is ‘Selling Sunset’ Star Christine Quinn’s Net Worth?

“She’s in O.C.,” Fitzgerald said of Young. “She lives in O.C. and we are opening an Orange County office. So, there is someone else named Matt that runs that and he’s the one that’s in charge of that one so I’m sure if she’s doing meetings and stuff she’s going to be doing it at the local Oppenheim Group office just out of convenience, but she’s still very much part of the Sunset Office, very much part of the group. She hasn’t distanced herself at all.”

In addition to all of the returning cast members, we may also get to see some new faces in season 4.

“We do have new agents, so the more the merrier as long as they are not drama, then I’m good with it,” Fitzgerald said of bringing new people on the show. “You guys will see a couple new faces because we do have new agents.”
