‘Selling Sunset’ Reunion: Release Date, Host, Season 5 Drama We Need Updates On

‘Selling Sunset’ Season 6 and 7 are in the works
In January 2022, Us Weekly reported Netflix picked up the real estate reality series for two more seasons. “Everyone is very excited,” an insider told the outlet. According to one of their sources, seasons 6 and 7 won’t start filming right away so the cast can have “a bit of a break.” At publication, details about filming remain unclear.
‘Selling Sunset’ reunion will air on May 6
Before the credits roll on the finale “Nothing Remains the Same,” the release date for the reunion special is revealed. It will air on Netflix on May 6, 2022.
‘Selling Sunset’ cast will film the first reunion episode on April 24
Season 5 of Selling Sunset was released on Netflix on April 22, 2022. The cast will come together to film the reunion in Los Angeles on April 24 (via E-News). Queer Eye‘s Tan France is hosting the reunion special, which is sure to be full of drama.
According to E, the full cast will participate in the reunion, including Jason Oppenheim, Brett Oppenheim, Chrishell Stause, Christine Quinn, Mary Fitzgerald, Heather Rae El Moussa, Maya Vander, Davina Potratz, Emma Hernan, and Vanessa Villela. The Oppenheim Group’s newcomer Chelsea Lazkani will also be there.
Season 5 drama we need addressed
Since the whole cast is participating in the Selling Sunset reunion, we’re hoping to get some answers regarding the season 5 drama. First and foremost, is Emma’s developer friend Micah still in the picture?
We’re also curious about Maya, who made her move to Miami to focus on family in season 5. Plus, we need details on Vanessa’s relationship with Tom Fraud — is it still long distance?
Hopefully, the reunion episode also touches on Chelsea and how she fits into The Oppenheim Group. Is her best work friend Christine still an agent there?
Of course, the reunion episode will also have to address some of the tougher topics from the season, including Jason and Chrishell’s breakup. Plus, there’s that alleged unethical bribe Christine attempted with one of Emma’s clients.
‘Selling the O.C.’ release date might be announced during the reunion
Jason announced The Oppenheim Group was opening another office in Orange County at the end of Selling Sunset Season 4. According to Variety, Selling the O.C. began filming in November 2021, but we haven’t heard any updates about the release of the spinoff series.
