The Jeffree Star Cosmetics website crashed before the products went live
The launch of Shane Dawson’s Conspiracy Collection was a historic one. Fans saw the YouTuber, with the guidance from Jeffree Star, create a makeup product from scratch. The products were set to launch Nov. 1 at 10 a.m. PST. However, according to Jeffree Star’s Twitter account, there was too much traffic headed to the website.
“Before the full #shanedawsonxjeffreestar collection could even go live, you guys broke the site,” Jeffree Star tweeted. “Not all of the products went live when we launched. We are currently fixing all issues on our end and praying that Shopify can get back on track shortly.”
Despite technical difficulties, fans shared their love on social media. Once the Conspiracy Palette sold out, some congratulated the YouTubers on their success.
“I managed to snag a mini-controversy palette! I paid extra, but now I have both palettes! Thank you so much, Shane Dawson and Jeffree Star! I’m sorry all this went down. You are both so amazing! Thank you for releasing an inspiration and being one,” one Twitter user wrote.
“Even with all the complications you still sold out! It must have been incredibly stressful dealing with all the issues but it has definitely paid off. Congratulations, you deserve this,” said another Twitter user.

As predicted by many Shane Dawson and Jeffree Star fans, the Conspiracy Palette sold out on Jeffree Star Cosmetics’ website and many other online retailers, including Morphe and Beauty Bay. However, many products are still available for purchase on the Jeffree Star Cosmetics website, including the nine-shade Mini-Controversy palette.
This is not the first time Shane Dawson sold out of a product and some fans are left wondering when the YouTube celebrity’s online merchandise store and Conspiracy Collection will restock.
When will Jeffree Star and Shane Dawson restock the Conspiracy Palette?
There is no word regarding when Shane Dawson and Jeffree Star will restock their makeup collection. According to one episode of The Beautiful World of Jeffree Star, Jeffree Star said he could place another order as early as Nov. 4, 2019.
This is not the first product Shane Dawson sold out of. When the YouTuber launched his makeup store earlier this year, every product, from the pig face-shaped backpacks to the phone cases, sold out within a day. As a result, Dawson tweeted that they would restock the store soon.
