Throughout the next three seasons, Whitfield’s issues with Bob played out on camera and they battled over child support. Whitfield also experienced changes in her friendships with her co-stars, most notably Nene Leakes after they fell out over a business deal gone wrong. Still, she remained a favorite on the show and fans rooted for Whitfield when she began living independently of Bob’s wealth and started her own clothing company, She By Sheree.

Whitfield left the series after four seasons to avoid chronicling her drama with Bob. She returned as a friend to the show in season 7 and finished building her dream home, Chateau Sheree. Her and Bob tried rekindling their relationship but she decided to end things after revealing she’d dealt with domestic abuse in their past marriage. She left the show for good after season 10.
