[Spoiler alert: The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart Week 4.] Oh how the tables have turned. When The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart debuted in mid-April, viewers rooted for Sheridan Reed and Julia Rae to make it through to the end. But after a love square with Savannah McKinley and Brandon Mills, Bachelor Nation fans wanted nothing more than to see Sheridan and Julia go their separate ways.

Then in the fourth episode, the rollercoaster came to a screeching halt — for everyone. Nevertheless, some fans questioned whether Sheridan and Julia are still together after The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart after they gave their exit interviews. So what’s the deal now? Here’s what we know.

In The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart Week 4, the producers flipped the script and sent people on dates with individuals who weren’t their chosen partners. One of the date cards went to Julia and Brandon. Julia told Sheridan she didn’t expect their situation to change. But that’s not what happened.

After the date, Julia revealed she wanted to be with Brandon. She told Sheridan the truth. Then, as a result, Sheridan self-eliminated. In his exit interview, the music artist expressed his deep disappointment. Meanwhile, Savannah ditched the show when she realized it wasn’t going to work with Brandon.

In the end, Julia was eliminated when she paired up with Brandon and received low marks from the judges. During her exit interview, the singer blamed the lack of chemistry on Brandon, claiming he went in as if it were a solo act. Julia also admitted she made the wrong choice.

“I wish I could go back and choose Sheridan,” she said.

Julia and Sheridan are not together after ‘The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart’

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight released on May 4, Julia opened up about her journey on The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart. She acknowledged her mistakes on the ABC reality series as well as the overwhelming hate she has been receiving on social media.

Then the music artist shared she was in “constant contact” with Sheridan after the show wrapped filming. But now, Julia and Sheridan are very much not together. The couple isn’t even in contact today.

“I don’t really want to watch [Monday’s episode],” Julia said. “It’s hard, because I’m also dealing with the fact that I’m not in touch with Sheridan and that is really painful.”

She later added: “I think he’s understandably hurt. We lived this experience. I think it’s one thing to live it and then watch it over again for all of us. And I think he’s rightfully hurt. I apologized to him and I said, ‘I understand why you would like some space right now.’ And I owned up to the fact that I made some major mistakes in the way that I handled these situations.”

Julia and Sheridan share their thoughts after ‘Listen to Your Heart’ airs on May 4

Now both Julia and Sheridan have shared a few thoughts about their time on The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart via social media. On Twitter, Sheridan had a few exchanges with Chris Harrison. The host tweeted about giving Sheridan some love after his breakup with Julia. Then Sheridan replied, “I did my best Chris.”

Harrison also wrote a post in reference to the split and Sheridan hinted the relationship is done while plugging his new song. “At least I got a good song out of it, comes out at midnight,” the musician wrote.

Meanwhile, Julia apologized to Sheridan on Instagram. On May 4, she wrote:

This is my first time watching all of this back with a bird’s eye view. It has finally all come into focus for me. My emotions, confusion, and stress clouded my judgement on many occasions and I didn’t see things clearly. That is my fault.

In two weeks, I explored potential connections with two very different guys. As much as I thought I was trying to follow my heart, ultimately it failed me. And I am sorry @sheridanreed – I failed you.

Clearly, The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart was an emotional journey for Sheridan and Julia. Now let’s just hope both parties are able to move forward soon.
