Sister Wives fans found irony in Kody Brown’s claims that he was once “repulsed” by Christine Brown when they now consider her the “hottest wife” of his four spouses. They shared their supportive remarks toward Kody’s former wife in a Reddit thread devoted to the series. These came on the heels of the TLC series final episode of the season.

Kody once claimed he was ‘grossed’ out by Christine

Christine was Kody Brown’s third wife after Meri and Janelle Brown. Christine and Kody had been friends for quite some time before announcing their engagement. However, it was ahead of their courtship that Kody claimed he was once “grossed out” by the way Christine enjoyed a salty snack during a car trip.

In the book Becoming Sister Wives, Christine joined Meri and Kody on a long car ride to a Wyoming farm owned by Kody’s family.

Christine enjoyed a snack of cheesy nachos topped with chili as Kody watched her eat in the rearview mirror. He put any ideas for courting her to rest after watching her eat a large amount of junk food.

“The sight of this chubby girl in my car devouring chili cheese nachos for breakfast put the brakes on our relationship. It brought out the most superficial and shallowest side of me. I still liked her, I liked her very much — but the nacho experience cooled my attraction a little — well, a lot,” he wrote in the book.

Kody would later admit he acted superficially judging Christine at that moment.

‘Sister Wives’ fans call Christine the ‘hottest wife’

In a Reddit thread titled “The irony. Kody is disgusted by Christine, and today she is the hottest wife/ex-wife. Discuss,” fans shared their thoughts about Christine’s evolution into what they claim is the “hottest wife.”

They appeared to agree that Christine’s transformation since leaving Kody in Nov. 2021 has been transformative.

“Christine and Meri both look good these days. It’s like sleeping with Kody drains women of their beauty,” one Reddit fan wrote.

“I always thought she was the most beautiful not just looks but because she was the bubbliest and had a positive attitude and was very nurturing. She always had a sparkle or glow and still does!” claimed a second Sister Wives viewer.

“Christine, at least to me, always had a prettiness about her. The way she communicates, her expressions, demeanor. Hope she finally gets loved and wanted the way she deserves!” wrote a third fan.

“He’s not disgusted by her looks. I don’t believe him. It’s about taking that light out of her eyes. Everyone always says she’s the most likable, the funniest. She has a presence about her that draws people in. Kody is incredibly jealous of that. It’s about him. HE should be getting the attention,” shared a fourth viewer.

Reportedly Janelle will continue to support Christine in her decision while Kody’s fourth wife Robyn will be on her husband’s team in the arguments regarding his behavior this season.
