Janelle Brown and Kody Brown’s marriage
In 1992, Janelle met Kody through her ex-sister-in-law, (soon to be sister wife) Meri Brown. After courting, Kody added Janelle to the family as his second wife.
Janelle and Kody tied the knot on January 20, 1993, when Janelle was 24 years old. Though they aren’t married legally, they have been married “spiritually” for over 28 years.
Janelle and Kody have six children
Together, Janelle and Kody have six children. Christine also has six biological children, Meri has one, and Robyn has five. While Janelle has six biological children, she considers the nine daughters and three sons from her sister wives as her own children.
Within Janelle and Kody’s first year of marriage, they welcomed their first child, Logan Taylor. He’s now 27 years old. The following year, they welcomed their daughter, Maidson Rose, who is now 26 years old. Then they had their second son, Hunter Elias, who is now 24 years old.
Then, there is Robert Garrison, who is now 23 years old. After that, they had Gabriel, who is now 20 years old. Then they welcomed their youngest daughter, Savanah, who is currently 17 years old.
Janelle and Kody are grandparents
Kody and Janelle’s six children are growing up, getting married, and are now having children of their own. Janelle and Kody are grandparents after their eldest daughter married Caleb Brush on June 4, 2016. They welcomed their son, Axel James, in 2017 and then their daughter Evangelynn Kodi in 2019.
Their son Logan got engaged to his fiancée, Michelle Petty, back in September 2017. They plan to get married on October 22, 2022. While Garrison just moved out after buying a $336,000 house in Flagstaff, Arizona.
Many Sister Wives fans praise Janelle for being such a protective momma bear with her children. Even though Kody disagrees that her older sons stay at home beyond the age of 18, she’s defended them and put them first.
