‘Sister Wives’: Kody Brown Admits He Spends More Time With Robyn Brown Because She’s the ‘Obedient Wife’

'Sister Wives' fans have long suspected that Kody Brown prefers to spend time with Robyn Brown. He has subtly admitted it several times over the last two seasons. Kody is getting bolder than ever now. In season 16, he finally admitted he spends time with Robyn because she's the "obedient" wife.

Sister Wives fans continue to tune in week after week to hear Kody Brown gripe about his wives. In between talk of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Kody has made some startling revelations. In this week’s episode of the TLC reality TV series, the polygamist revealed exactly why he enjoys spending time with Robyn Brown, his fourth and legal wife. Kody claims that Robyn is the “obedient” wife.

While Christine Brown’s decision to ditch Kody has helped her amass more fans this season, Kody is doing very little to shore up his image. In “The Teflon Queen,” the most recent episode of Sister Wives, Kody Brown got candid about why he spends all of his time with Robyn Brown. His proclomation has viewers livid.

In a conversation with Gabriel and Garrison Brown, Kody revealed that he’s spending the bulk of his time with Robyn Brown, his fourth and legal wife, because she’s the “obedient” one. He suggested his other wives have opted not to follow his strict guidelines. Because of their differing opinions he has no interest in seeing them. Kody may have been referring to his coronavirus protocols with his statement, but viewers are taking it an entirely different way. 

Fans think Kody sounded misogynistic in the most recent episode of ‘Sister Wives’ 

Kody might have been trying to explain why he feels comfortable at Robyn’s house, but the more he spoke about the issues around coronavirus, the more annoyed fans became. Reddit users connected to discuss his statements. Several users suggested Kody’s take on his family was misogynistic. 

The father of 18 made several proclamations that didn’t sit well with fans, but his statements about his wives not being “obedient” and his take on both Janelle and Christine hit fans particularly hard. Over the years, Christine and Janelle Brown have emerged as fan favorites. Christine has since moved away. Is Janelle next? 

Is Kody and Janelle Brown’s marriage on the rocks? 

The conversation with Gabriel and Garrison didn’t make Kody look good, but fans of the series walked away questioning more than the misogynistic undertones of his statements. Fans are wondering if Janelle Brown is seriously considering ending her marriage to Kody, too.
