‘Sister Wives’: Kody Brown Says He ‘Ambivalent’ to Christine Kicking Him Out of the House — ‘I Almost Don’t Care’
In a preview for the upcoming Jan 23 episode of Sister Wives, Kody Brown reacts to his third wife, Christine Brown, kicking him out. He says that he’s feeling “ambivalent.” He says, “I almost don’t care.”
Christine packs up Kody’s things in boxes
In the clip via ET, Kody says, “So I’m over at Christine’s again, and I noticed more boxes. ‘Kody’s nightstand,’ ‘Kody’s clothes from dresser,’ ‘Kody’s bathroom stuff.'” As he’s looking around at his things boxed up in his wife’s garage, he says, “Guess it’s time for me to talk to her about it.”
He counts that Christine has boxed up Kody’s things in nine boxes. He says, “So I’ve been moved out of my house.”
Christine explains, “Now that we’re here, and now that Kody’s not sleeping here anymore, I feel like I can take a breath and get myself grounded. And get my head in a good place. And just rest for a bit and just settle for a bit here. Independent.”
Kody reacts to being kicked out of Christine’s house
After getting kicked out of his house, Kody says, “I don’t know how I feel about this.” He says he doesn’t want to take any of the boxes out of the garage until he talks to Christine. He says, “I honestly didn’t know she was this serious. I’ve had times past where she’s said something, and I didn’t feel like she was that serious. I don’t know what it all means.”
Christine says she feels conflicted about her feelings, but it’s hard when Kody doesn’t even spend the night at her house anymore. Kody tells the cameras, “I think I need to talk to her about how serious she is. Before I really decide how I feel.”
Kody says, “Honestly, I’m thinking about it a little bit. I’m not angry. It appears to be a game. But it might not be. I don’t know.” He reveals, “I don’t know why, but I’m ambivalent. I almost don’t care.”
Kody tells Christine that he wants a marriage without ‘intimacy’
Kody downgraded his relationship with Christine from a “full marriage” to one without intimacy. Christine reveals, “He said, ‘I am not interested in having an intimate marriage anymore.'”
This withholding of affection has been something that Meri has been dealing with for years. However, contrary to Meri, Christine isn’t going to have a marriage without intimacy. Christine admits, “I am not OK with staying in a marriage where there is no intimacy.”
