‘Sister Wives’: Mykelti Brown Dishes On Relationship Troubles Between Kody Brown and Meri Brown
Sister Wives star Kody Brown and one of his wives, Meri Brown, have been having some relationship troubles lately. The two do not seem to be in frequent contact, and fans suspect that Meri may be on her way out of the relationship. Christine Brown’s daughter, Mykelti Brown, took to Twitch with her husband Tony to dish on the reality of Meri and Kody’s relationship. Meanwhile, it seems as if Kody Brown has been becoming increasingly frustrated with his family.

While Kody Brown may have four “wives” in the non-traditional sense, his only lawfully wedded wife is Robyn Brown. In a whirlwind scheme, Kody Brown divorced Meri Brown, who remained one of his “spiritual wives,” in favor of marrying Robyn Brown, who many fans feel is the favorite.
Additionally, it seems as if Meri Brown is slowly phasing herself out of the Sister Wives family. As reported by The Sun, Meri Brown has previously claimed that her relationship with Kody Brown is dead.
Meri said, “People ask me all the time why I don’t leave. The relationship between he and I is gone, it’s dead, it’s over.”
Meanwhile, Kody claimed that Meri tricked her into their relationship. He claimed, “I feel like I was deceived into a relationship that was very different than what I expected. Meri and I had a fast courtship with a lot of expectations and a lot of not communicating. I didn’t know who I was marrying. As things unfolded, I started to become troubled and bitter by the situation I was in.”

With Kody and Meri Brown’s relationship seemingly on the rocks, many Sister Wives fans have been hungry for more information. Lucky for them, Mykelti Brown took to Twitch with her husband Tony to dish on Kody and Meri’s relationship.
A fan asked the two if the troubles seen between Meri and Kody on television are real. Tony answered, “It’s real, but it’s blown up.” Mykelti added, “A little bit of both, I would think.”
She went on to explain, “But I don’t know their personal life. Between any of the siblings, individual siblings, individual parents or whatever, we really don’t know a lot of what goes on. We know what’s between us and someone else.”
She added, “Yes I know what’s going on with their houses. If they’re moving. They’re not! But we don’t know the rest of that.”
Kody Brown seems frustrated with his family
In the meantime, it often seems as if Kody Brown is growing increasingly frustrated with the challenging social dynamics that come into play with a polygamist situation.
In February, Brown told Sister Wives producers, “When I was younger, it used to be a lot of pleasure to me when I’d see my wives goofing off and playing and having fun together. I’m jaded, I guess.”
He then added, “I just don’t see plural marriage in the same light that I used to. I’m struggling with plural marriage and I’m struggling with my wives and I’m struggling with their conflict. We’re at a stage in our lives now where we’re far apart and we’re struggling with getting along.”
