‘Sister Wives’: Mykelti Pardon Just Revealed That Another Season Is on the Way
Season 15 of Sister Wives is ready to wrap up. While fans of the reality TV series have lambasted previous seasons for boring content, the same is not true this time. Season 15 has brought many bombshell statements but very few permanent decisions, and those decisions probably won’t get made during this season. Fans shouldn’t worry though, it doesn’t look like the Brown family will be leaving them waiting. According to Mykelti Padron, the daughter of Kody Brown and his third wife, Christine Brown, season 16 is happening.
Mykelti Padron’s Instagram Live event appears to confirm a new season
Mykelti took to Instagram Live to speak to fans about what is going on with her life. She also answered a series of questions about Sister Wives. Eagle-eyed fans were quick to pick up on a bit of a slip. Mykelti seems to have confirmed that a new season of Sister Wives is, in fact, forthcoming.
During the event, Mykelti mentioned that the family filmed baby Avalon’s birth but that she couldn’t answer too many questions because Sister Wives will feature the delivery. Fans were quick to point out that Mykelti seemed to confirm another season of the show. TLC has not featured Mykelti’s pregnancy during season 15. Sister Wives is currently working with footage from 2020, just as the Coronavirus pandemic took hold in the United States.
When can fans expect a new season of Sister Wives?
While Mykelti seems certain that a new season of Sister Wives is forthcoming, no official announcement has been made. Traditionally, TLC doesn’t announce an upcoming season until we are just weeks away from the premiere. The most recent season, season 15, premiered on Feb. 14. The network announced its return on Jan. 21. The season’s final episode is set to air on April 18.
Will fans need to wait a full year to see Avalon’s birth? It is a possibility. While TLC has staggered the release of the show’s seasons in the past, the network has fallen into a once-a-year schedule more recently. If that’s the case, a new season might not premiere until February 2022. TLC did not respond to a request for comment.
Will Season 15 of Sister Wives include a tell-all episode?
It doesn’t look like season 15 will be the last that fans see of the Brown family. If what Mykelti says is true, they’ll surely be back for more. Still, A long wait for more episodes isn’t sitting well with fans. a Tell-All episode might make the wait a bit more bearable, though. Last season’s tell-all didn’t happen, so will fans get a Brown family sitdown this year?
While TLC hasn’t released a statement about a tell-all episode, it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen. While an episode of Sister Wives is currently on the schedule for April 18, a new episode doesn’t appear on the following week’s television schedule. In the Sister Wives 10 pm spot, the network will be premiering a new show.
