‘Sister Wives’: Were Robyn and Kody Brown Intimate Before Marriage?

Sister Wives stars Robyn Brown, and Kody Brown’s courtship and marriage went a lot different than it did with the rest of Kody’s wives. Were Robyn and Kody intimate before marriage? Here’s what we know.

Robyn and Kody kissed before marriage

During his first three courtships, Kody was careful about abiding by the conservative standards of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS church).

He even taught his children the importance of maintaining the law of chastity. In one episode, Kody warned his older kids about “hormones” getting in their “mouth” from kissing and causing them to be attached to the person.

However, Sister Wive fans recall Kody upset his other wives when he and Robyn kissed. According to Ok! magazine, Christine was the most upset when she found out about Kody and Robyn’s kiss before marriage.

She said, “It was devastating.” She said, “We didn’t kiss until over the altar because I didn’t feel right about kissing a married man.”

Robyn was in Kody’s ‘rotation’ before they were married

In the first seasons of Sister Wives, when Kody was dating Robyn, he went to his three wives’ houses for equal amounts of time.

However, after Kody and Robyn were engaged, she was put “in rotation” as if she were a wife. Christine was especially upset with this, as she was pregnant with her youngest daughter, Truely Brown.

Instead of spending more time with Christine, Kody drove five hours to go see Robyn. He would spend weekends with her.

He supposedly spent the night in different rooms. However, there’s no way to confirm or deny that they maintained their distance from each other before marriage.

‘Sister Wives’ fans think Robyn and Kody were intimate before marriage

On Reddit, Sister Wives fans discussed whether they thought that Robyn and Kody were intimate before marriage or not.

One fan wrote, “I couldn’t understand why she was in the rotation if they weren’t married. Considering Kody is against sharing a room if not married. Unless he was in the spare room.”

Another fan wrote, “I don’t think Robyn would’ve been in the rotation if she and Kody weren’t getting it on. He was like a giddy high schooler when he was ‘courting’ Robyn.”

Many Sister Wives fans were convinced that Robyn and Kody were intimate before marriage. However, there’s no way to prove or deny that. The signs point to Robyn receiving special treatment from Kody during their courtship and engagement, compared to his other wives.
