The latest season of Sister Wives is wrapping up with a tell-all special. The special is kind of a big deal. Fans have been left mostly in the dark in recent years, with the show’s seasons ending without additional commentary. While the tell-all episodes are back, not everything is exactly the same. This year’s tell-all follows a different format than those that have aired in the past, and fans are here for it.

How many tell-all episodes does season 16 of ‘Sister Wives’ have?

TLC has changed the format of Sister WIves’ tell-all episodes. In years past, the entire Brown family sat down as a group with a host to discuss what happened in the season. This year, the Browns are sitting down for one-on-one interviews with Sukanya Krishnan. The new format has warranted three one-hour long episodes, with clips from each individual sitdown edited together.

Season 16 marks the first time since season 13 that Sister Wives fans are enjoying a tell-all extravaganza. Neither season 14 nor season 15 had a closing special. When a tell-all didn’t air for either season, fans worried that TLC was preparing to ax the series. Thankfully that was not the case.

When will part two and part three of the tell-all episodes air?

Part one of the tell-all episode, which aired on January 30, was certainly explosive. The Brown family shared a lot, and fans gained a ton of insight into the Brown family’s troubling dynamics. So, when will the next two parts air? It appears as though TLC will leave the special events in the same time slot that the season aired in.

According to TLC’s official schedule, part two of the tell-all special is set to air on Sunday, February 6, at 10 pm. However, the timeslot of part three seems a bit more up in the air. TLC’s schedule for February 13 is available, but the network has purposefully left a hole in the 10 pm hour. Sister Wives fans assume that the third part of the tell-all episode will air at that time, but TLC has not confirmed that.

Will there be a season 17 of ‘Sister WIves’?

The Brown family’s honesty during the most recent season of Sister Wives has fans once again hooked on the reality TV series. Naturally, everyone wants to know if a new season will pick up where fans last left off. There is good news. Season 17 is reportedly in the works. Christine Brown’s son, Paedon Brown, recently confirmed that TLC is filming another season of the family’s long-running reality TV show.

Paedon was the most recent family member to confirm another season, but he’s not the first to suggest it’s going to happen. Shortly after announcing her separation from Kody Brown in November 2021, Christine asked fans not to pose questions about her family life in Live events or on Facebook because she would be unable to answer them. She said that the storyline would eventually be covered. Fans saw Christine packing up Kody’s things during the season finale, but it looks like the rest of their separation will play out in an upcoming season.

While Paedon and Christine have seemingly confirmed a new season, TLC has not. The network is not known for making announcements months in advance, though. Season 16 of Sister Wives was not confirmed by the network until just a couple of weeks before its premiere. The Brown family has been pretty accurate with their statements in the past, so it’s safe to say another season is likely to happen. When exactly it will air is anyone’s guess, though.
