Sofia Richie Officially Has a New Boyfriend Just Two Months After Scott Disick Split
Sofia Richie may have just split from Scott Disick, but she didn’t let their breakup stop her from getting back into the dating scene.
Just two months after separating from the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, Richie is back off the market as she is now dating Matthew Morton — aka the “mystery man” she recently sparked romance rumors with over the weekend of Oct. 16.
Though it’s unclear how serious their relationship is, sources tell Us Weekly that Richie and Morton are definitely a couple but are keeping the details of their relationship on the down-low for the time being.

If you’ve been following Richie’s romantic life post-Scott Disick split, then you know that she has officially moved on with a new man.
On Oct. 19, Us Weekly confirmed that the model is dating entrepreneur Matthew Morton after splitting from Scott Disick again in mid-August.
According to a source who spoke with the outlet, Sofia and Matthew are “trying not to make a big deal about their relationship or about how serious it is,” but “they are definitely seeing each other.”
News of the pair’s newfound relationship comes just a few days after they were spotted having a dinner date in Malibu at celebrity hotspot Nobu. The couple was photographed dressed casually as they dined out together and remained pretty close throughout the night, which ultimately sparked romance rumors.
Morton is Richie’s second rumored love interest since she ended things with Disick
A month before Richie sparked romance speculation with Morton, she was linked to actor Jaden Smith after the two were photographed cozying up together on a beach.
Though it looked like Richie and Smith were treading into romantic territory, sources later told Us Weekly that the young stars are just good friends.
“They basically grew up together and there’s nothing romantic there,” the insider shared.
Before Smith, Richie dated KUWTK star Scott Disick. The pair became an official couple in 2017 — following the reality star’s split from Kourtney Kardashian — and were together for nearly three years before calling it quits in May 2020.
At the time, insiders reported that the pair broke up so that Disick could focus on his mental health amid his stay at a Colorado rehab facility.
Two months later, the model briefly rekindled her relationship with the Talentless founder as they were photographed celebrating the 4th of July together.
However, the pair’s renewed love affair didn’t last very long because, in August 2020, they called it quits again.
“Sofia really pushed to make things work between them after they initially broke up, but Scott officially called it off recently, and they are no longer speaking,” a source told E! News at the time. “Friends attributed their 15-year age difference becoming an issue. He’s in a very much different place in his life, really focused on a more quiet lifestyle, his kids and his investment businesses, and Sofia … is really still trying to figure what she wants to do, which drove them apart over time.”
Like Richie, Disick has also moved on with someone new
Though Richie and Disick’s break up took many fans by surprise, it clearly wasn’t hard for the exes to get over.
While the model has been spending time with her new beau, Disick has recently been linked to model Megan Blake Irwin, who he was spotted out on a date with the same night Richie and Morton hit up Nobu.
Though it’s unclear if the reality star and the Australian model are dating, their recent spotting wasn’t the first time they’ve been seen out together.
In 2016, the pair was rumored to be dating after being photographed together in New York City and Los Angeles.
In addition to Irwin, Disick has also been linked to his ex-girlfriend, Bella Banos, who he was spotted out on a date with earlier this month.
Though it might seem like it’s way too soon for Disick and Richie to be dating again, they’re clearly doing whatever they can to move on with their lives and find happiness once more.
