Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas made headlines when they had a surprise wedding in Las Vegas just hours after the Billboard Music Awards a few weeks ago. The couple hadn’t been together too long before getting engaged, but they appear to be perfect for each other. Each of them are stars in their own right, but which of these two celebrities has the higher net worth?

Turner and Jonas began dating in November 2016

Turner and Jonas first sparked dating rumors when they were spotted together back in November 2016. The two were reportedly introduced through mutual friends, and they hit it off right away but didn’t confirm their relationship for several months. In January 2017, Turner posted a photo of Jonas on Instagram, essentially confirming the two were a couple. They both attended the Met Gala in 2017 but didn’t walk the red carpet together; it may have been their way of saying they wanted to keep their relationship private. It didn’t take long for the couple to know they had each found “the one” — Jonas proposed to Turner in October 2017, less than a year after they had started dating.

The two recently tied the knot in Las Vegas but are reportedly still planning a bigger wedding

When Jonas, alongside his two brothers, Nick and Kevin, performed at the Billboard Music Awards, all eyes were on their three leading ladies; Priyanka Chopra (who is married to Nick Jonas), Danielle Jonas (who is married to Kevin Jonas), and Turner all sat together during the awards show and danced their hearts out to their favorite boy band. After the show, things got even crazier when Jonas and Turner surprised everyone by walking down the aisle. The two tied the knot in a quick Las Vegas ceremony, but they are reportedly still planning a bigger celebration in Europe. It’s unclear when their “second” wedding will take place.

Turner and Jonas started dating in November 2016 and recently married after the Billboard Music Awards.

Turner is worth an estimated $6 million

Turner and Jonas are famous for two very different things. Turner got her big break when she landed the role of Sansa Stark on Game of Thrones, the popular HBO show that has pretty much taken over television. Turner was only 14 years old when she was cast for the role, and nobody could have guessed how long the show would run or how successful it would be. Now, eight seasons later, Turner has become one of Hollywood’s most well-known actresses, and she’s only 23. She was paid an estimated $175,000 per episode for the final season, and today, it’s earned her a net worth of around $6 million.

Jonas is worth an estimated $18 million

Jonas stepped into Hollywood when he was a teenager, too. About a decade ago, he and two of his brothers rose to fame with their popular boy band, The Jonas Brothers. Back in the day, the trio had hits such as “Year 3000,” “Lovebug,” and “Burnin’ Up,” but they took a break from their band in 2013 in order to take their own paths. Jonas then formed a group called DNCE, which came out with the popular song “Cake by the Ocean.” After a few years of finding themselves, the group got back together and came back bigger than ever. In March 2019, they released “Sucker” followed by “Cool,” and it’s safe to say the Jonas Brothers are back on top. They recently announced a brand new tour. Jonas’ longtime music career has earned him a net worth of $18 million.
