Southern Charm Season 8 is coming soon, but not everything is as it appears to be. In the trailer Bravo dropped last month, it seemed like everyone in the cast was in love. Including Kathryn Dennis and her beau Chleb Ravenell.

But this latest season was filmed in 2021, and a lot has changed since production wrapped. Kathryn and Chleb’s relationship — which was featured in the trailer — has long been over. And since their split, the Southern Charm star was dumped again by yet another lawyer.

Chleb Ravenell will appear in ‘Southern Charm’ Season 8

Before the Southern Charm season 8 premiere makes it to Bravo, we already know that this will be the only season fans can expect to see Chleb. On the official Southern Charm cast page, he’s described as a former college athlete, who “prides himself on discipline and hard work, which he channels into his relationship with Kathryn.”

But after dating for more than a year, an insider dished to Us Weekly in November 2021 that Chleb and his reality star girlfriend had officially called it quits.

According to the source, the reason for the split was that Chleb wasn’t willing to make the serious commitment to Kathryn that she wanted. They explained that the Southern Charm star — who shares Kensie, 7, and Saint, 6, with her ex Thomas Ravenel — wants to “get married again and have more kids.”

Another lawyer has dumped Kathryn Dennis

Since Kathryn and Thomas split in 2016, the former couple has been in an ongoing custody battle. Thomas currently has full custody with Kathryn only getting visitation.

That battle recently took yet another turn when Kathryn was dumped by the lawyers handling her custody case.  According to All About the Tea, the Southern Charm star is now “scrambling for new legal representation” after her team of attorneys abruptly resigned from her case.

Kathryn’s entire legal team — Susan Rawls Strom and Pete Currence — filed a motion on May 31 with the Charleston County Family Court to be “relieved as counsel” for the Southern Charm star. The reason they cited for wanting off of Kathryn’s case was that the attorney/client relationship was “irretrievably impaired.”

“Grounds for the motion are that counsel and defendant can no longer communicate, and can not agree on matters of importance to the case, and the attorney-client relationship is irretrievably impaired so much that undersigned can not effectively represent defendant.,” the motion read.

‘Southern Charm’ star Kathryn Dennis isn’t paying her attorneys on time

An insider claims that Kathryn isn’t paying for her lawyers’ services in a timely manner, and they refuse to put their “stellar reputations on the line without transparent cooperation” from the reality star.

“This is like lawyer number 12 for her…they all keep quitting, because she shows up late, tells them lies and doesn’t pay them, despite her big paycheck from Bravo,” the source shared.

When Kathryn found out her attorneys had dumped her, she took to her Instagram Story to call out both her legal team and the father of her children. She referred to Thomas as a “high conflict person,” and then accused her lawyers of treating her “like a number.”

“Dear Attorneys: If Your Client Is In A Custody Battle With A High Conflict Person, Please Know: You Are Her Voice, You Are Her Advocate, She Has Been Through Trauma, Treat Her Like A Human And Not A Case Number. Signed, Survivors Everywhere,” Kathryn wrote.

Southern Charm Season 8 premieres Thursday, June 23 on Bravo.
