Southern Charm star Kathryn Dennis has dealt with a lot of ups and downs these past several years. She famously had an on-and-off relationship with Thomas Ravenel and welcomed two kids with him, though the exes are now going through a custody battle.

Not only that, but Kathryn’s living situation has also been unstable. She recently moved to a new place while reportedly owing thousands of dollars in rent.

Kathryn Dennis has lived in multiple places

Fans of Southern Charm have seen Kathryn move multiple times throughout the course of the show.

When Kathryn and Thomas were together and expecting their first child, Kathryn moved into Thomas’ plantation home on Edisto Island.

After their 2015 breakup, Kathryn rented a pink townhouse in Charleston for $6,600 per month, according to Bravo. She and her children only lived there for six months, however. Kathryn later shared that she hated having to climb the stairs in the house, saying, “F*** living in a house that’s five stories. Excuse me… Nothing ever made it to the top floor.”

Then, in 2019, she moved into a home that her grandfather left her. When the reality TV star did renovation work on it in 2020, she temporarily moved back in with Thomas.

In 2021, Kathryn and then-boyfriend Chleb Ravenell revealed they had moved into an apartment together (via Daily Mail). They broke up later that year.

Kathryn Dennis is currently living in an apartment while reportedly owing over $9,000 in rent

According to The Sun, Kathryn has been living in a “high-rise apartment block in Charleston,” though it is not clear exactly where in the city the apartment is located.

The outlet alleged that Kathryn had been living in an apartment on 10 WestEdge, which she previously shared with Chleb Ravenell, but she was given a “Rule to Vacate” notice in early 2022. “A clerk for Charleston County told The Sun she missed her February and March payments this year of $4,626 each, totaling $9,252,” the outlet reported.

Although Kathryn settled those payments with Mt Pleasant Investments LLC, the owner of the apartment complex, she was given another notice in May. The clerk told The Sun that Kathryn received an eviction order as well.

It is not clear if Kathryn ever paid the $9,252 she owed.

In 2020, Thomas received full custody of their children, and Kathryn has been trying to dispute this legally. However, All About the Tea alleged that her lawyers, Susan Rawls Strom and Pete Currence, recently dropped her as a client.

“The attorneys refuse to put their stellar reputations on the line without transparent cooperation from Kathryn,” a source reportedly said. “Also, she doesn’t pay regularly or timely for their services, so they’re done putting up with her crap.”

The insider added, “They (the lawyers) can see the evidence is mounting against Kathryn. This is like lawyer number 12 for her…they all keep quitting, because she shows up late, tells them lies and don’t pay them, despite her big paycheck from Bravo.”
