Jason is out for revenge as the main characters look for a way to stop Vecna

The last fans saw Jason, he gave a speech to the local townspeople blaming the Hellfire Club and the renegades of Hawkins for the recent murders. He also believes them to be responsible for all the bizarre events in town and to be rituals in the Satanic Panic craze of the 80s.

Jason wants revenge, his way, for Chrissy’s gruesome death and believes whole heatedly that Eddie is the killer. He is on the hunt to find the gang. In the new trailer, fans see Jason and Lucas in the attic of the Creel House in an intense brawl. With Lucas throwing in some impressive punches.

Thanks to officially released stills of Stranger Things 4 Volume 2, fans have a better picture of how the events unfold between Lucas and Jason. But fans soon noticed it might be more grave than they realized, and some fans theorize Max is involved.

Last week, Netflix released photos of the second half of the season that enticed many fans. With the new trailer, fans focused on one picture in particular. The picture is of Max and Lucas in the attic of Creel House. They are sitting across from each other in a conversation. A scene shows Lucas looking up and screaming in terror.

But the events unfold further thanks to the trailer. Fans see Lucas, Max, and Erica on their own going into the house. Meanwhile, the rest of the characters gear up for battle in the Upside Down. The possible source of Vecna’s powers could be the physical home in both Hawkins and the Upside Down.

Fans on Twitter soon noticed that Lucas and Jason’s fight scene reveals one key detail for Stranger Things 4 Volume 2. In the corner, fans see what they believe to be Max suspended in the air in a trance.

A fan on Twitter comments, “If Max is the bait then maybe Lucas was the person who was responsible for turning the music back on when Max went into a trance… and then Jason comes along and fucks everything up. I’ll hate it if they kill her and make it Lucas’ responsibility… I just..” A fan agrees that Max’s player could also break during the scuffle.

The Duffer brothers revealed to Variety, “So everybody is in danger. And there’s sort of an ominous feeling that things might not go well. Now, whether they do or not, you’ll have to watch.” Actor Joseph Quinn also told Variety the finale of the second half of the season is “absolute carnage.”

Fans fear their favorites are in danger. The trailer showed Dustin, Robin, Steve, Nancy, and Eddie looking fearful and afraid as they were geared up in a moving trailer. There has been speculation that Eddie will be one of the season’s sacrificial lambs and can die during his guitar solo.

The trailer only intensified the worry as Robin tells Steve she believes they may not survive this time. Dustin yelling in pure agony and shock also has fans on edge. Stranger Things 4 Volume 2 will likely cause heartbreak.
