Sadie Sink stars in Taylor Swift’s ‘All Too Well’ short film

Sink recently added “Her,” Swift’s avatar in All Too Well: The Short Film, to her acting portfolio. As the actor revealed to Buzzfeed:

“[Working on the video] was so exciting. I definitely never thought that that would ever be possible and that our paths wouldn’t have crossed that way. Really, it was a very surreal moment. We had a really cool experience together, and we made something that we’re all really proud of.”

Despite her role in Swift’s film, “All Too Well” isn’t the song that would save Sink from Vecna.

‘august’ by Taylor Swift would save Sadie Sink from ‘Stranger Things’ 4 Vol. 1 villain Vecna

In Stranger Things 4 Vol. 1, Max is still dealing with the loss of her stepbrother Billy (Dacre Montgomery). She starts experiencing headaches and creepy visions but doesn’t fill in her guidance counselor or any of her friends. Eventually, Max pieces together she’s Vecna’s next victim.

While in the Upside Down, Max stumbles upon Vecna’s lair and witnesses what happened to his previous victims, Chrissy Cunningham (Grace Van Dien) and Fred Benson (Logan Riley Bruner). Back in the real world, Steve (Joe Keery), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), and Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) get some intel from Nancy Wheeler (Natalia Dyer) and Robin Buckley (Maya Hawke) after their visit with Victor Creel (Robert Englund). They play Max’s favorite song to guide her back to the land of the living.

According to her interview with Netflix’s Tudum, Sink said Swift’s “august” would save her from Vecna’s grasp. “That song honestly can revive me from anything,” Sink said, despite her starring role in “All Too Well” and Swift’s “The 1” being at the top of her Spotify Wrapped last year.
