Summer Walker made controversial comments amid coronavirus concerns

Back in March, Walker deleted all of her Instagram posts after receiving backlash for reposting a fake video that claimed to depict people in China spreading coronavirus. Walker put the video on Instagram with the caption, “That’s some trifling nasty a** s**t.” When she received the criticism, the singer responded with a series of statements on her Instagram stories and doubled down.

“Lol people so dumb, talking about I’m racist and that video was from a long time ago. It don’t matter if it was from 20 years ago, bottom line that s**t nasty & IDGAF if a black white yellow or green person did that s**t, it’s still nasty,” she said in the first post.

She posted a second story in which she wrote, “Lmao I literally don’t give a f**k anymore this is app. It’s not that serious. For my label Ima just delete all this s**t.”

She’s now receiving backlash for posting about a coronavirus conspiracy theories

Once again, Walker found herself as the subject of controversy in something related to coronavirus.

In a post on her personal Instagram page, @galactawhore (Walker’s professional Instagram is @summerwalker), she shared several photos while speaking in the caption about how coronavirus is allegedly a form of “population control.”

The caption reads, “All I wanna know is if these mf’s cared about population control so much why they ain’t put a cap on having kids globally like China a long a** time ago. You can have 1 MAYBE 2 & das it and das law, dese ppl with these 8 children families simply would be prohibited. Instead of going welllll over the Georgia guidestones and deciding to say we’re f****d so let’s just create a fake a** virus implement martial law and throw everyone into fema camps murdering by masses. NOW FORGET EVERYTHING I just said. I like about everything I have no clue what I’m talking about.”

This is just the latest in coronavirus conspiracy theories that she continues to spread on the second page. She frequently posts news articles and videos screenshots about coronavirus, including a screenshot of a YouTube video called “Plandemic Documentary The Hidden Agenda Behind Co-vi-8d 19.” Walker posted a screenshot with the caption, “they keep deleting.”

She has also been posting about the 5G conspiracy theories as well. Those theories claim that the 5G network has health risks for people.

The 5G conspiracy theory is common among music artists, as Keri Hilson, Wiz Khalifa, and YG have all said something about it. It doesn’t seem like Walker plans on backing down anytime soon and will continue to make posts about the conspiracy theories, many of which have been debunked by credible news outlets.
