What challenges does the ‘Survivor: Winners at War’ finale show include?

On May 13, 2020, at 8 p.m. EST, CBS will air the three-hour season finale to Survivor 40: Winners at War. Many fans are worried about the number of challenges and tribals left to be crammed into a short time.

Fans believe that the episode will begin with the Edge of Extinction Returnee challenge. Natalie Anderson will have three advantages to this competition. Parvati Shallow, Sophie Clarke, Tyson Apostol, Wendell Holland, and Yul Kwon will each have one advantage in the game. The rest of the returnees have no lead.

The Edge Returnee will then compete in an immunity challenge. The group of six will vote another person out, to get back down to five players. There will be another individual immunity challenge and then a vote to get down to four castaways.

The last four players will compete in a fire-making challenge to enter the final three. That group of three will appeal to the jury of 16 players, trying to earn their vote for the title of Sole Survivor and winner of the $2 million prize. After Jeff Probst reads the votes, the reunion show will take place via video chat due to the coronavirus (COVID-19).

Fans claim the ‘Survivor: Winners at War’ finale promo revealed the Edge of Extinction returnee

On Friday, May 8, 2020, fans began speculating that the finale promo gave away the player who returns from the Edge of Extinction.

Survivor released a teaser for the finale, and they accidentally included a shot that had the returning player in the frame,” wrote one YouTube viewer. “When they found out they had done it, they took it down from their YouTube Channel. The damage has been done, and half the Survivor community knows who wins the challenge to get back into the game now.”

In the video, there is a short clip of Tony Vlachos going down a giant slide. In the background, a person is going up the stairs who fans believe is Natalie Anderson.

“I think we can say it’s official now,” one Reddit user wrote. “Natalie returns.”

Fans believe Natalie returns now that CBS took the video promo down

“And the video has been pulled down,” added another Redditor. “CBS realized their little oopsie with Natalie! LOL!”

The original finale promo was removed a few hours after it was posted. Fans believe that Natalie does return from the Edge of Extinction in the finale episode.

Fans will find out if Natalie returns and wins the $2 million prize during the three-hour finale of Survivor: Winners at War on May 13, 2020, at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
