Sydney Sweeney’s beauty routine involves ice rolling her face every morning

Sweeney is no stranger to putting ice on her face. Fans of Euphoria will recall that Cassie’s intense beauty routine involved an ice roller. Coincidentally, the ice roller, and the rest of the products, were all from the Washington native’s personal collection. In a recent video with Allure, Sweeney spoke candidly about why ice rolling is an important part of her beauty and wellness routine.

“So, I bring this everywhere I go,” Sweeney shared of the $19 device. “It’s just an ice roller I got off of Amazon. I live by it; it just wakes me up. I feel like it makes my skin feel good and takes away any puffiness. And I just, literally, ice roll. I could do this for a really long time. I make sure I get both sides and my jawline. And I just leave this in my freezer. I have multiple in my freezer, just in case I leave one on set, and I put one on set in my trailer in my refrigerator.”

Continuing on, Sweeney shared that using the ice roller each morning makes her “face feel awake.” However, sometimes she needs a bit more of a boost. Thanks to her job, The Players Table producer often works long hours. Long nights and early mornings are pretty par for the course. So, when she’s feeling particularly tired, she takes a more intense approach to wake up.

“If I’m like really, really tired, and I need a huge pick me up, I get a bowl of ice,” Sweeney began. “I dunk my face into the bowl of ice and try and hold it there for a couple seconds, and then I wake up.”

Sweeney doesn’t rely on caffeine to help wake her up

Perhaps Sweeney takes such a drastic approach because she doesn’t rely on caffeine for energy. In an interview with Bustle, Sweeney admitted that she’s not someone who has a cup of joe in the morning. “I have never even tried coffee,” Sweeney admitted. “I only drink water — for whatever reason, when I was like, 12, I decided I would only drink water and I just stuck with it. I love water, it’s my thing.”

Continuing on, Sweeney admitted that she gets her energy in other ways. In addition to dunking her face in ice, she has her fair share of candy and sweets. “Don’t get me wrong — I eat sugar, so it balances out,” she admitted. “Instead of coffee, I’ll have some Swedish Fish or anything gummy if I’m tired.” Clearly, Sweeney has found ways to keep her energy levels up. They may be a little unorthodox, but they work for her.
