[Spoiler alert: The Bachelorette Season 16.] While ABC airs The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons — Ever! to fill the void between seasons, the franchise is busy preparing for the most-dramatic cycle — ever. But will the network formally announce the new bachelorette and start giving her some well-deserved promo? Here’s what fans can expect.

For anyone who needs a refresher, Adams was introduced to the franchise during Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor. She became an instant fan-favorite and made it to the top three. But in the end, Underwood jumped the fence for Cassie Randolph during Fantasy Suites, leaving Adams heartbroken.

While things didn’t work out between Adams and Underwood, she met John Paul Jones during Bachelor in Paradise Season 6. The unlikely couple spent the summer in Mexico together. Though it seems the relationship wasn’t meant to be.

Jones and Adams decided to break up before the BIP finale. And while they got back together by the reunion special, Adams and Jones officially split after a few months.

After leaving The Bachelor franchise for the second time, many fans wanted Adams as the next lead for The Bachelorette. Now, it seems everyone is finally getting their wish.

On Aug. 3, multiple publications reported Adams as the new bachelorette, replacing Crawley as the lead. Crawley allegedly left the show to pursue one of her contestants, Dale Moss. Thus, the producers called in Adams to complete the season.

“The producers have told her that the season will still lead with Clare and her short-lived journey, and will show Clare falling in love with one of her suitors,” a source told E! News. “Clare will then conclude her journey and announce that Tayshia is the lead.”

Even so, ABC has yet to confirm the news about the switch-up involving Crawley and Adams. Meanwhile, all the Bachelorette Season 16 promos solely feature Crawley as the lead.

For now, Bachelor Nation fans must wait and see whether the franchise will unveil any details about Adams moving forward. But the 29-year-old will be featured on Nick Viall’s episode of The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons — Ever! Though Adams’ appearance doesn’t seem out of the ordinary.

Typically, new episodes of The Greatest Seasons highlight former contestants to discuss relevant topics or update fans on their lives today. According to the press release courtesy of ABC, Adams will discuss Rachel Lindsay’s impact on the franchise.

“Tayshia Adams (Colton Underwood’s season) and Natasha Parker (Peter Weber’s season) also check in with Chris to talk about the impact Rachel had on their experiences on the show and the importance of amplifying Black voices,” the press release reads. “They also look ahead to Matt James as the first Black Bachelor.”

Of course, the lack of Bachelorette details may not come as much of a surprise. It’s likely The Greatest Seasons was filmed before the alleged switch-up. But whatever happens moving forward, fans will happily follow along the way. Let’s just hope Adams gets some decent promo as well.
