Hannah Waddingham to star in animated series ‘Krapopolis’

Waddingham is stepping into the recording booth for a new animated series. According to Deadline.com, Waddingham will star in the Fox comedy Krapopolis. The series is the brainchild of Rick and Morty creator Dan Harmon. The premise of the Krapopolis is about a dysfunctional family of Greek gods and mythical creatures.

Waddingham will portray Deliria, the matriarch of the family. The character has the honor of being the “goddess of self-destruction and questionable choices.” Joining Waddingham are actors Matt Berry, Richard Ayoade, Pam Murphy, and Duncan Trussell. Krapopolis is set to premiere sometime in 2022.

‘Ted Lasso’ is getting ready to start season 3

Waddingham’s new role might cause concern for Ted Lasso fans. However, they don’t need to worry. The actor will be pulling double duty between her shows. Season 3 of the Jason Sudeikis comedy is getting ready to start production.

According to ScreenRant.com, the third season will consist of 12 episodes with a premiere date in summer 2022. Unfortunately for fans, Season 3 is reportedly also Ted Lasso‘s last season with no plans to continue. Although it appears viewers will be saying goodbye to Sudeikis, Waddingham, and the other cast members, in the world of TV, anything can happen. So maybe the success of Ted Lasso will convince the producers to come back for more.

Hannah Waddingham’s ‘Ted Lasso’ character

Although Waddingham’s been acting for over 20 years, it wasn’t until Ted Lasso came along that she gained fame. Waddingham’s role as AFC Richmond owner Rebecca Welton made her a star. Although Rebecca starts as a vindictive ex-wife plotting to destroy the team by hiring Ted as a coach, she also has a softer side.
