‘Teen Mom’: A Look Back At Jenelle Evans’ Most Insanely Dramatic Moments
Jenelle Evans seems to be a drama magnet. Whether the show’s currently filming or it’s the off-season, Evans is always giving Teen Mom fans something to talk about.
Read on for a look back at Evans’ most insanely dramatic moments since the beginning of the show.
1. MTV fired her husband
On Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018, MTV made an announcement that they would no longer allow Evans’ husband, David Eason, to be on the show. Eason allegedly wrote a homophobic tweet in response to a Twitter user who wrote to Eason to “limit the exposure of unnecessary weaponry around the house.”
“And just what makes you think you have the right to tell me how to be a parent? Because you think you know me? LMAO why don’t you go tell the homo and transgender parents to start teaching their kids better morals?” he reportedly wrote. “Oh I forgot, that’s supposed to be normal,” responded Eason (the tweet has since been deleted).

2. Jenelle almost canceled her fairytale wedding
In September 2017, Evans and Eason tied the knot in their North Carolina home in front of friends and family. While lots of happy pictures were posted of the day, and Evans donned a $2,999 dress, a later episode revealed that Evans almost canceled the wedding just 24 hours prior.
She was frustrated with her friends for not helping out with wedding day preparation, frustrated with her fiancé for not listening to her, and frustrated with the show’s producers for being too “in [her] face.”

3. Her custody battle with her mom
As every viewer knows, Evans and her mother don’t get along. Their relationship got especially heated during the custody battle involving Evans’ son, Jace. As of May 2017, the family reached a custody agreement.
“I’m really happy we could get to a decision for Jace but it doesn’t change my feelings towards my mom. She still isn’t giving up my son to me but I will fight again in the future when the time is right. I’m happy but devastated at the same time that I didn’t take it to trial. But in the world of Jenelle, you learn to pick and choose your battles,” she said about the agreement.

4. When she candidly spoke about her former drug use
Evans recently released a memoir titled, Read Between the Lines: From the Diary of a Teenage Mom. In her book, readers were surprised to find how candidly she spoke about her former heroin addiction. She wrote about how incredible the drug was initially, but how it eventually drove away her friends and family.
“The first thing I lost to the drug was my family. I disowned my mother and siblings and friends, but the truth is no one wants to talk to you when they suspect you’re a junkie,” she wrote.

5. She’s threatened to quit the show
One particular episode really upset Evans and her husband and she took to Instagram to write:
Yes, me and David have our ups and downs but yesterday’s episode was uncalled for. Because David didn’t feel like explaining another argument or drama on camera they make it look as if David is hiding some weird ass shit from the public as if he was hurting me in some way?! I have decided after this season I’m probably calling it quits for filming this show. I told Morgan it’s getting to out of hand and it’s not healthy for us anymore, just harming us mentally. They treat all of us as if we are in a freak show and in cages. We aren’t human beings to @mtv what-so-ever.

6. Blue Apron and Jenelle cut ties
One thing Evans has taken advantage of since becoming a Teen Mom star is ad partnerships. One of those partnerships was with Blue Apron, be the two have since split ways after a bit of drama.
“I decided not to work with Blue Apron because of bad tensions with a previous co-worker they decided to work with as well,” said Evans. “After breaking the news to Blue Apron, they got on their social media account responding to fake accounts about me telling them they were firing me. My husband got upset by this and [led] to him tweeting them.”

7. Fighting with her co-stars online
Evans isn’t a stranger to Twitter feuds, but, oftentimes, those feuds are with her co-stars. Jenelle reportedly sent a cease and desist letter to Kailyn Lowry and Chelsea Houska last year, and it led to some harsh Twitter words.
“If you have 10+ mugshots do not try to blame me for you not being [able] to secure a job. That wasn’t even worth responding to. Over it,” tweeted Lowry to Evans.
