‘Teen Mom: Family Reunion’ renewed for Season 2

The spinoff reunited Teen Mom: OG cast members Cheyenne Floyd, Amber Portwood, Gary Shirley, and Maci Bookout McKinney, Teen Mom 2’s Jade Cline, Briana DeJesus, Ashley Jones, and Leah Messer for a retreat in California where they work through issues with life coach Cheyenne Bryant.

Guests join the ladies: Cheyenne’s fiancé Zach Davis and father to her oldest Cory Wharton, the father of Amber’s oldest child Gary Shirley, Jade’s best friend Chau, Briana’s sister Brittany and later the father of her oldest child, Devoin Austin, and Ashley’s husband, Bariki Smith.

After a few episodes, OG alum Farrah Abraham joined the series but wasn’t received well by the others after calling Cory “ghetto.”

Not feeling welcomed by the others, she chose to leave the following day after a conversation with Maci. Following the Feb. 15 episode, “Highwire Act,” MTV announced its decision to renew the series for another season.

Will Farrah Abraham return for ‘Teen Mom: Family Reunion 2’

After the Feb. 8 episode, “Ride the Wave” aired, in which she made her appearance, Farrah distanced herself from Teen Mom, and the Family Reunion cast members.

In a tweet, she claimed she is “attacked in real life” due to the “denial and negativity” on the MTV reality show. She then claimed she’s “more educated” than her co-stars and denied speaking ill of their kids, as Cory accused her.

“I don’t speak of anyone’s children; that’s them, and if you’re not a teen mom, get off,” the 30-year-old tweeted. Farrah also took to her Instagram to announce that she would “no longer have anything to do with Teen Mom.”

She described it as a “disturbing environment” she doesn’t want in her life, calling the show “evil, abusive, has no ethics, and is illegal and against the contract.” Therefore, it’s improbable Farrah will return for Family Reunion 2 or any future Teen Mom spinoff.

Farrah Abraham quit ‘Teen Mom: Family Reunion’ after a brief appearance

Before the polarizing reality star made her entrance, Bar and Ashley as well as Cory and Cheyenne, noted they had issues with Farrah due to comments she reportedly made about them having kids only to land a spot on the reality show.

Therefore, Cory approached her soon after she arrived about the remarks. Not appreciating how he came at her, Farrah replied, “I guess I feel really ghetto too, like that,” upsetting Cheyenne.

The OG star began yelling at the alum and flipping over tables, eventually leading to security intervention. Farrah thought everyone took “things out of context” and later talked to Bryant about the situation.

She then spoke with Maci before leaving, believing the others were against her. Teen Mom: Family Reunion airs Tuesdays on MTV.
