Jenelle Evans has had to become a hustler since she got cut from Teen Mom 2. The former reality star has had a hard time since she married David Eason. The relationship cost her her job with MTV and some sponsorships. Evans did leave Eason for a short time but soon she and Eason worked things out and moved back in together. Now, Evans is trying to find a new way to make money outside of Eason.

Jenelle Evans and David Eason’s relationship

Evans marrying Eason was the beginning of the end of her MTV career. Eason was fired from the show after sharing some homophobic comments online. Evans was allowed to remain on the show until Eason shot a dog in front of her children. After that, MTV decided to part ways with Evans as well.

Evans left Eason following the incident.

“I know I need to make changes. I’m starting that now,” she wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post. “The kids and I have moved away from David. Nobody gets into a marriage expecting it to end but I know that’s what is best for me, and for my kids. Today I’ve filed papers to start that process.”

But soon, the two were back together. In an interview with In Touch, Evans talked about why she got back together with Eason.

“David was there for me through everything that happened, good or bad, and was my best friend,” she said. “I just couldn’t imagine my life without him. I felt like I gave up on him, but he never gave up on me.”

Eason was recently arrested again for assaulting one of Evans’ friends with a gun. It is unclear whether the couple is still together.

Jenelle loses a sponsorship

After Teen Mom, Evans started making money through Instagram sponsorships. In March, she posted a picture promoting Peanut, a social networking app for moms. After fans contacted Peanut and expressed outrage that Evans would be chosen for such a campaign, the company stopped working with her.

“Thank you very much for bringing this to our attention. We are dealing with it ASAP,” a representative from the company tweeted a fan. “The content has been removed.”
