Chris Lopez, the father of Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry’s youngest sons, has notably not wanted to appear on camera. Therefore, viewers are more privy to her side of the story regarding their on-again-off-again relationship. After signing a contract to continue appearing on the show, a fan wondered if he would “consider” filming a special in the future.

Chris Lopez said he would ‘consider’ filming a special with other ‘Teen Mom’ fathers

In response to an Instagram prompt by Chris Lopez, who fathers two children with Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry, for questions, a fan asked if he would film a special with the franchise to give the audience a glance into his life.

Lopez, 27, answered he would “consider doing something” if presumably money and the other fathers featured in the show are involved.

“They deserve love out here, too,” he added.

The Delaware native has frequently vocalized his unwillingness to film on camera since he and Lowry welcomed their first child.

Lopez recently signed a contract to appear on the show

After previously insisting the cameras could no longer film him, Lopez agreed to continue appearing on the MTV reality show in August 2021, a month following the Teen Mom 2 Season 10 finale.

Since the beginning of their relationship in 2017, he hasn’t wanted to appear and notoriously swore at the cameras in a 2021 episode.

The Ashley’s Roundup reported he signed for $2,000 an episode and that his ex wasn’t happy to find out about the news. According to the publication, a source informed it that Lowry didn’t want him “cashing” in on her opportunity.

However, the Teen Mom 2 regular took to her Instagram story to denounce the rumors and insisted she didn’t know about the contract.

Lowry and Lopez welcomed two children amid an up-and-down relationship

In 2017, Lowry, 29, began dating Lopez, her friend at the time, and she later announced they were expecting a child together.

In August, the short-lived couple welcomed her third son and his first child, Lux Russell, 4, but they split soon after his birth. According to the reality star, their relationship became explosive, resulting in her officially changing Lux’s last name to her own in April 2018.

Regardless, they unofficially remained together, with Lowry joking, the two could end up married in a January 2019 interview with Us Weekly. However, their relationship only deteriorated from that point, with the 29-year-old implying she was raising their son on her own at the season 9 reunion. Lowry then accused her ex of choking her and reportedly filed a protection order against him.

Although he was arrested for violating it in early 2020, the two announced they were expecting another child. Despite initially insisting she preferred Lopez not attend the July 2020 birth, she eventually did. The reality star also gave their youngest, Romello Creed, 1, his last name. Their relationship seemingly hasn’t improved much as the two frequently throw shots at each other on social media. Teen Mom: Family Reunion airs on MTV.
