Teen Mom OG fans have long been rooting for Amber Portwood to settle down and enjoy family life. It looked like their wish was granted, but everything fell apart on July 5. Portwood, arrested for assaulting her live-in boyfriend, spent a couple of days in jail. Now, she’s facing three felony charges that could place her behind bars for a much lengthier stay. The fate of her relationship with her one-year-old son, James, also hangs in the balance. Now, Andrew Glennon, the father of the child, is claiming Portwood isn’t interested in her son because she allegedly “stood him up” for a scheduled visitation.

Andrew and Amber are trash-talking each other

The formerly happy couple isn’t smiling any longer. Not only have they taken issue with each other privately, but the resentment has seemingly spilled over onto social media and in interviews. In the wake of Portwood’s arrest, they appeared to be keeping things civil, but a few social media posts, a request to relocate and a missed visitation later, the pair are apparently duking it out.

Glennon has aired out some dirty laundry about Portwood, likely in response to her desire to post cryptic messages to social media. In the weeks after her arrest, Portwood has denied the domestic battery, accused Glennon of cheating, and has even subtly suggested Glennon drives drunk with the couple’s child in the car.

Glennon, for his part, has begun posting messages about how he’s been treated as a victim of domestic violence. He’s also called into question Portwood’s desire to be close to the child they share. All in all, things are getting ugly, and the taping of a Teen Mom OG special was the catalyst for Glennon to take things to the public arena.

Why is Andrew upset about Amber’s appearance on the Teen Mom OG reunion?

Glennon is miffed at Portwood’s appearance on the Teen Mom OG reunion for a couple of reasons. First and foremost, Glennon seems to have taken issue with the networks unwavering support of the mother of two.

Glennon isn’t the only one who has had an issue with the continued coverage of Portwood. Former Teen Mom 2 star, Jenelle Evans was irritated when it came out that the network was not only sticking with Portwood but filming her legal troubles. The production company ended their long-tense relationship with Evans after her husband, David Eason, shot and killed the family dog.

Secondly, Glennon was put out by the fact that Portwood missed a supervised visit with her son to film. A judge allowed Portwood supervised visitations with the child shortly after her first court appearance, but it looks like Portwood missed out on one assigned visit to work. Glennon is now suggesting that the missed appointment indicates that Portwood isn’t all that interested in building a relationship with her child.

Andrew and Amber’s relationship ended abruptly

There is clearly bad blood between Portwood and Glennon. The couple seemed to be doing just fine until Portwood was arrested on July 5 for domestic battery. While the pair appeared to be dealing with the issue in private for the first month, the gloves have since come off.

Glennon recently requested permission to move from the state of Indiana. Portwood, for her part, has asked the court to deny the request at this time. She even went so far as to call Glennon’s petition “disingenuous,” according to Radar Online.

There are some very hurt feelings between the pair, and it makes sense why. Days after the incident, it looked like the pair may try to mend fences. Now, however, it’s evident that the relationship is very much over, and neither Portwood nor Glennon are interested in playing nice.
