The majority of the Teen Mom OG cast members have been on reality TV for more than a decade. Some have moved on to other projects, while others have joined later in the show’s MTV run.

But no matter how long they were part of the cast, each Teen Mom OG star has managed to earn some serious cash. But which one has the highest net worth?

The newest ‘Teen Mom’ stars earn less than the four OG’s

The original Teen Mom series back in 2009 featured Maci Bookout, Catelyn Lowell, Amber Portwood, and Farrah Abraham. MTV had featured all four in 16 & Pregnant, and Teen Mom was that series’ first spin-off.

The four OG’s were the stars of the show during seasons 1 through 6. But halfway through season 7, things started to change. For season 7B, Abraham left the cast after MTV fired her for making money in the adult entertainment industry.

MTV adds new blood on ‘Teen Mom’

At the same time, they added Are You The One? alum Cheyenne Floyd and Sarah Palin’s daughter, Bristol.

Palin only stayed around for the episodes in season 7B before jumping ship. For season 8A, MTV added Teen Mom 3 fan-favorite Mackenzie McKee. She went on to become a full-time cast member in season 8B.

With Palin only appearing in a handful of episodes, she didn’t earn anything close to her co-stars. According to Disclosure Daily, Palin’s current net worth is roughly $1 million. Meanwhile, McKee has amassed a fortune of $200,000, according to The Things.

Floyd has a reported net worth of $450,000 thanks to her appearances in various MTV reality shows. She is currently making the series minimum of $3,000 per episode. Floyd – who is currently expecting baby number two – also has side earnings from her fitness business. As well as her sponsored posts on social media.

The original cast members all earn the same amount of cash per episode

As Cheat Sheet has previously reported, the four original cast members all make the same amount of money. Nine seasons in, the moms are making somewhere between $350,000 and $500,000 per season.

According to Meaww.com, Portwood’s net worth is approximately $1.1 million. In addition to being an MTV reality star, Portwood has earned money from sponsored social media posts and real estate.  However, due to her numerous legal problems and addiction issues, there is speculation that Portwood could be nearly broke.

Lowell and her husband, Tyler Baltierra, have multiple income streams. In addition to starring in numerous MTV shows, the couple has written the best-selling book Conquering Chaos. They also have their own clothing brand. Lowell’s estimated net worth is $1.3 million.

The ‘Teen Mom’ star with the highest net worth has cut ties with MTV

The two Teen Mom stars with the highest net worth were both OG cast members. Bookout is earning $500K per season. She also owns a clothing company with her husband, Taylor McKinney, called Things That Matter. Bookout’s reported net worth is between $1.5 and $2 million.

Number one on the list is Abraham. Despite cutting ties with MTV in 2017, the adult entertainment star is worth approximately $5 million. During her run on Teen Mom, Abraham appeared in more than 60 episodes and earned $30,000 for each one.

Farrah Abraham claims MTV exploited her and her daughter

When the network fired her, Abraham said, “Even though #Viacom fired me today they couldn’t help but to exploit myself & my daughter for their promotional gain. Viacom let me go because as a Business Mogul I act like an adult and partake in adult promotions and activities that other adults do for FREE or in private!”

In addition to her income from the adult industry, Abraham has a food company called Mom and Me, where she sells mustard, wine, marinated mushrooms, and Italian Pepper Sauce. She and her daughter Sophia have also created the Mommy and Me Spa Kit.

Both her clothing boutique, Sophia Laurent, and her home furnishings store, Furnished by Farrah, have closed. So has her frozen yogurt shop, Froco. However, Abraham continues with numerous business ventures, including entrepreneur master classes and writing books.

New episodes of Teen Mom OG air Tuesday nights on MTV.
