Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham was easily the most controversial woman on the show. And eventually, her distaste toward producers combined with the jobs she was working outside of filming led Abraham to part ways with MTV. Despite not being on the show anymore, Abraham has still remained relevant. But what does she do now?

Abraham quit ‘Teen Mom’ after she had to decide between the MTV show and the adult film industry

Abraham first appeared on our television screens back in 2009 when she starred in an episode of 16 and Pregnant. After her episode wrapped, MTV asked her to join their newest series, Teen Mom, along with other moms from the show. Abraham then starred on Teen Mom for several years, but other business opportunities, along with Abraham reportedly developing a bad attitude toward producers, led to issues with the show. Abraham had gotten involved with the adult film industry, and MTV told her she couldn’t be an adult film star and be on Teen Mom. They also told her she had become very difficult to work with. Abraham eventually decided she no longer wanted to do the show.

Her work in the adult film industry has made her a lot of money

Abraham has had an extensive career in the adult film industry, including releasing a sex tape back in 2013 and starring in additional adult films. Abraham also launched a video series, which was for adults only and provided sex advice. In 2014, Abraham signed a contract to have a residency at a gentleman’s club in Austin, Texas, and she was reportedly paid more than $500,000 for the gig. The engagements involving the adult industry are what prompted MTV to give her an ultimatum and also what prompted her to eventually leave the show.

She recently appeared on MTV’s ‘Ex on the Beach’

Abraham has participated in several reality television shows. Aside from 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom, Abraham also took part in Couple’s Therapy, Big Brother: Celebrity Edition, and Marriage Bootcamp: Reality Stars Family Edition. She most recently appeared in the MTV reality show Ex on the Beach, where she was a cast member for the second season. However, it’s unclear why MTV allowed her on that show but not on Teen Mom. Abraham said at one point that she’s been trying to break away from the reality television sphere and get into scripted acting. However, she doesn’t appear to have any professional acting training and has almost no resume when it comes to a scripted series.

Abraham has started to get involved in modeling and influencing

Recently, Abraham has begun partnerships with certain clothing brands, which she has advertised on her Instagram. Specifically, she appears to be working with the clothing brand Pretty Little Thing. It’s unclear how much Abraham is getting paid to promote the website’s clothes, but since she has 2.2 million Instagram followers, she’s easily charging thousands of dollars per post. Abraham doesn’t seem to know exactly where her career is headed, but she seems to think she’ll do just fine without Teen Mom in her life.
