Chrissy Teigen is an open book, which is exactly why she took to the internet for help with a skin issue she referred to as “red blotchies.” The mom of might two dip into an indulgent stash of skin products, but there is one internet-recommended item Teigen tried. In true Teigen form, she did it live on the internet and became an insta-fan of the product for life.

There’s a reason so many “Best of Chrissy Teigen” lists have circulated. Not only does the “Queen of the clap back” know how to run her Twitter account like a boss, but she’s also funny in the most relatable way.

If you take a peek at her Instagram page, you’ll see Teigen’s beautiful family sandwiched between hilarious snapshots. For example, there is a picture of Teigen and friends wearing onesies with “Sexiest Man Alive,” printed all over, to troll Teigen’s husband, John Legend.

Or, you could come across her Twitter account, where the bio says, “de-motivational speaker currently sleeping with people’s sexiest man alive.”

There, Teigen is at her unfiltered best, typically dragging herself or anyone she pleases. She also shares tips and tricks from her kitchen, responding to fan concerns or questions. Teigen truly is one of the internet’s most entertaining celebrities because of (not in spite of) her transparency.

What item saved Teigen’s skin?

When Teigen has an issue, she takes it up with the worldwide web. One issue she had this past summer had to do with those “red blotchies” on her usually flawless skin. She could’ve tried any number of expensive creams but did something else instead.

Following her hairstylist, Priscilla Valles’ advice, Teigen filmed herself for an Instagram story as she gave the all-natural aloe vera plant a try. In the video, she takes the plant leaf into her hand and squeezes until the aloe liquid comes out to put on the red patches.

Aloe vera gel has been known to treat everything from burns to inflammation and burns because of its soothing properties.

Teigen also shared another condition she occasionally suffers from

While this “red blotchie” conversation continued, Teigen took a moment to address a fan who’d noticed something off about Teigen during an episode of Bring the Funny.

Teigen assured everyone she doesn’t have Bell’s Palsy but her symptoms are similar.

Sounds concerning, but Chrissy says her sensations aren’t Bell’s Palsy. The condition is a form of facial paralysis that results from damage or trauma to the facial nerves, according to the National Institutes of Health.

She should probably consult a doctor (and not the internet) for a numb face. At least she got the “red blotchies” under control with the aloe vera while entertaining fans, per the usual. We’d expect nothing less.
