Cassie Randolph was the final rose recipient on Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor. The former couple announced their breakup on May 29 on Instagram with separate posts. On Sept. 11, Randolph filed for a temporary restraining order against her ex for “stalking and harassing her.”

Since then, Randolph has seemed to be focused on school, her work, her loved ones, kittens, and self-care. She hasn’t spoken about what happened between her and Underwood directly (as is her prerogative), but she recently did an Instagram Q&A where she opened up about how she’s really doing right now.

Cassie Randolph dropped the restraining order against Colton Underwood

Last month, Randolph dropped the restraining order and police investigation against Underwood. The former bachelor gave a statement to TMZ shortly after.

“Today Cassie asked the court to dismiss the temporary restraining order against me,” said Underwood. “The two of us were able to reach a private agreement to address any of Cassie’s concerns. I do not believe Cassie did anything wrong in filing for the restraining orders and also believe she acted in good faith. I appreciate everyone’s respect for privacy regarding this matter.”

How Cassie Randolph is doing now

On Dec. 3, Randolph did a Q&A with her Instagram following. One fan asked: “Are you happy with where you are in life?”

“I know I have a great life, don’t get me wrong,” Randolph began. “I’ve always put a lot on my plate and tend to spread myself pretty thin. Yet I always feel guilty like I should be doing more or be at a different place in life than I am. Which is such a sad thing to do to yourself.”

As Bachelor fans might remember, Randolph is an SLPA and SLP grad student. With all of her school work and other business ventures, she typically has a lot going on.

Randolph also mentioned that she received a lot of “deeper questions” from fans.

“I’m feeling nervous to answer them,” she admitted. “My life was opened up to so many of you, which was GREAT, but also HARD. And I think I still overthink how I am, because of how opinionated people can get off of anything you put out there.”

Randolph went on to reflect on “this last year.”

“The world has been a confusing and lost place,” she wrote. “Sometimes makes me second guess the point of anything at all… which seems dark. But also true.”

The Bachelor alum said she “often feel[s] guilty about things.” She’s working on owning her feelings – “So much of the time I have to tell myself it’s okay to feel however I feel.”

Randolph also says she’s working on not sacrificing her own happiness for others.

“I just want to be happy,” she wrote. “And I want the people around me to be happy. Often I worry too much about the happiness of people around me that it sabotages my own. And [that] is just plain DIFFICULT. What a mind twister lol.

Those are some things I’m working on and deal with. But yes, I’m happy and working on being even happier.”
