These women spoke in the hot seat on the ‘Women Tell All’ episode

Following each of their exits, certain women took the hot seat on the “Women Tell All” episode to answer questions about being heartbroken. Pieper James, Abigail Heringer, Serena Pitt, and Katie Thurston all had the spotlight on them during the episode for a certain amount of time.

Since they each made it pretty far on The Bachelor, it made sense for them to have their own moment to shine during “Women Tell All.” Fans thought that producers and casting might have been “testing” each woman who sat in the hot seat as a potential lead of The Bachelorette.

Reality Steve had predicted that Katie Thurston will be the next lead

Surprising some fans, Katie, who was Reality Steve’s initial prediction for the next lead, had plenty of critiques from the other women. Many called her out for causing drama in the house that viewers didn’t get to see on the show. Katie stood up for herself, though, and continued to be bold throughout all of the criticism.

Fans noticed that Katie caught a lot of flack for off-screen moments from the season. Because of Katie’s “Women Tell All” edit, many viewers assumed that she is no longer a contender to be the bachelorette. Her edit tracked with Reality Steve’s update that Katie, who he had once heard was the next lead, is not in the running anymore.

Fans think this person might be leading ‘The Bachelorette’ next

A fan took to Reddit after the “Women Tell All” episode expressing their own prediction regarding the next lead. They shared a picture of their television screen using the Hulu app, which featured Abigail’s moment in the hot seat as the feature photo.

They asked other Redditers if Hulu was possibly hinting at the next bachelorette.

Another user commented on the thread: “Okay, that is very interesting. Someone at Hulu had to pick this photo specifically.”

Someone else piped in: “I work a lot with having to get celebs/partners approve stuff for my company to share on social so there’s no way ABC didn’t specifically say this had to be the cover photo IMO. They don’t just get to choose it has to be approved.”

A different fan thought that based on the edit, the lead role could go to Abigail.

“I know she was one of the only ones with a hot seat last night, but I can’t help but notice how Katie’s edit was not favorable,” they expressed. “I think at this point it’s between Abigail, Bri, and Michelle. I’d be okay with any of those 3 honestly!”

The Bachelorette hasn’t begun filming yet — so the next lead is still very much up for debate. We’ll have to wait and see if this theory pans out.
