‘The Bold and the Beautiful’: Brooke and Bridget Need to Explore Their Past With Deacon
The Bold and the Beautiful’s Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) is always in the center of family drama. Of course, most of the drama stems from Brooke’s mistakes. One of her biggest was sleeping with Bridget Forrester’s (Ashley Jones) husband, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan). With Deacon back stirring up chaos for Brooke, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Bridget back on the canvas.

Brooke and Deacon’s affair was a shocking moment on The Bold and the Beautiful. Although fans were used to Brooke’s promiscuous ways, they never thought she’d sleep with her daughter’s husband. The couple’s affair led to the conception of Hope Logan (Annika Noelle); however, it almost destroyed Brooke’s family.
Despite attempts to keep the affair quiet, Bridget discovered the truth after eavesdropping on the couple. An angry Bridget confronted her mother and cut off ties with Brooke. However, the mother-daughter duo eventually made peace, although fans felt Bridget shouldn’t have been so forgiving.
Lang and Jones agree that the Brooke and Bridget storyline was never adequately developed. In an interview with BOLD Live, the actors discussed how a Bridget return could bring their characters closure over the Deacon drama. “I honestly feel Brooke and Bridget never dealt with that. It’s honestly something that was pushed down,” Lang explained. Jones then replied, “Oh, 100%…they never dealt with it.”
Deacon Sharpe’s return brings back old memories
The Bold and the Beautiful‘s favorite bad boy returned in October 2021, creating more drama for Brooke. Although Deacon returns to reconnect with Hope, he still loves Brooke. Meanwhile, Brooke’s marriage to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) is in shambles, thanks to Deacon.
The couple’s had many arguments about Brooke letting Deacon into their lives. While Brooke is adamant she loves Ridge, Deacon’s return has stirred up old memories. Those old memories got Brooke and Deacon into trouble on New Year’s Eve. After knocking back a few drinks, the couple reminisced about their relationship and soon locked lips.
Bridget Forrester returns to end Breacon’s affair?
The memories of Brooke and Deacon’s affair have started speculation on whether Bridget will return to The Bold and the Beautiful. Deacon mentioned he wrote letters to Bridget while in prison, but she never wrote back. Given the pain Deacon put her through, it’s not surprising Bridget wants nothing to do with him.
Yet, she may find herself dealing with Deacon after learning of his and Brooke’s kiss. Fearing that Brooke and Deacon will reignite their affair, Bridget returns to Los Angeles to stop it. This is the perfect opportunity for the trio to unleash their pent-up feelings.
Brooke and Deacon have a lot of explaining and apologizing to do. Meanwhile, Bridget will have a lot to say regarding the emotional scars left by the betrayal of two people she loved.
