‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Comings & Goings: How Long Will Sean Kanan’s Run Last?
This week on The Bold and the Beautiful, we’ll be seeing more of Sean Kanan. Deacon is back in his daughter, Hope’s, life, much to the chagrin of her mother, Brooke, and her husband, Liam. But how long will his run on the hit soap last? Meanwhile, there are more new faces coming to the canvas this week.
Sean Kanan is a veteran of ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’
As fans of The Bold and the Beautiful know, Kanan has been on the show for a number of years. He originated the role of Deacon Sharpe — Hope’s biological father — back in 2005. In Kanan’s first run on the show, he portrayed the character from 2000 to 2005.
He then returned to the role in May 2012, but his time on the show only lasted one month. The last time Kanan portrayed Deacon on the soap was in October 2012. He then returned for a brief appearance in June 2014.
Daytime Confidential reported that Kanan signed a contract to return to The Bold and the Beautiful on October 7, 2021. That marked the first time that he’d been in the role in seven years. But it’s unclear how long Kanan is under contract for in this role.
But he’s had other high-profile soap roles, too
According to Soaps @ SheKnows, the character of Deacon is a bit of a shady one on The Bold and the Beautiful. One of the most infamous scenes involved him taking Bridget’s virginity, while the rest of her family listened in on speakerphone. (Did no one think to hang up the phone?) Then, he cheated on Bridget with her mother, Brooke, which is how we got Hope.
But Kanan isn’t just a veteran of the hit CBS soap. Prior to his role on The Bold and the Beautiful, he starred as A.J. Quartermaine on General Hospital. But what most people, perhaps, don’t realize is that in 2005, he briefly reprised the role of Deacon Sharpe on The Young and the Restless.
Most recently, however, Kanan has been known for his roles in Studio City and Beyond the Law. It remains to be seen how long Deacon Sharpe’s run on the show will last this time. But based on his upcoming storyline with Sheila Carter, it looks like he’s here to terrorize Los Angeles for some time.
Other ‘B&B’ comings and goings
Other The Bold and the Beautiful comings and goings from SoapHub reveal that an influencer will be making an appearance as a bartender on today’s episode (Oct. 12). Emma Davidov, who has a very popular YouTube channel, will be making an appearance as Molly, a bartender, today.
Davidov’s resumé states that she’s a recurring character on The Bold and the Beautiful, so this is definitely not the last time we’ll see her on the small screen. Prior to her recurring role as Molly, she was a day player in the role of a caterer.
