‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Couple Tanner Novlan and Kayla Ewell Welcome Baby Boy

‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ stars Tanner Novlan and Kayla Ewell announce the birth of their son
Novlan and Ewell were weeks away from welcoming their son, due in August. However, baby Novlan had other plans. On Sunday, The Bold and the Beautiful stars announced the birth of their son Jones Douglas Novlan.
In an Instagram post, Novlan revealed that Jones was born on June 6, seven weeks early. The newborn weighed three pounds, nine ounces. Novlan said that Jones is “happy and healthy” and that mom was “doing great too.”
The couple’s co-stars and fans flooded Instagram with congratulatory comments. “Congratulations, Mom and Pop!!! Welcome to the world Jones!!” wrote Krista Allen, who plays Novlan’s mother-in-law on the soap opera.
“Awww, welcome, Jones! I think Jones and Brando are about to be bffs! Congratulations, Tanner, Kayla, and big sis Poppy,” wrote one fan.
The couple are parents to a daughter named Poppy
Baby Jones is feeling the love from his parents and his big sister Poppy Marie. The couple’s daughter was born in July 2019, and Ewell said Poppy was looking forward to having a little brother. In a February interview with People, Ewell described how her daughter was preparing for the baby’s arrival.
“She tells everyone on the street, even dogs on the street, that she’s a big sister, and she’s really excited about it,” the actor explained. While Ewell loves being a girl mom, she was excited about having a boy. “I really wanted to be a boy mom. I’m excited to meet him. It’ll be fun,” she gushed.
Aside from his big sister, Jones will have plenty of playmates. Novlan’s The Bold and the Beautiful co-star Jacqueline MacInnes Wood welcomed her third son Brando in May. Darin Brooks and his wife Kelly Kruger had their second daughter in January.
Tanner Novlan made his surprise return to ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’
2022 is a big year for Novlan. Aside from the birth of his son, the actor is part of one of the biggest soap opera storylines. On April 1, The Bold and the Beautiful fans were stunned by the death of Novlan’s character John “Finn” Finnegan. Finn’s death and Novlan’s firing sparked outrage in the soap opera community.
However, in true soap opera fashion, there’s always a twist. In the May 23 episode, the writers revealed that Finn is alive. Novlan knew of the plot twist yet had to keep quiet about it. The actor couldn’t even share the secret with his mom, who was upset about Finn’s death.
But Novlan’s mother and fans are excited about Finn’s return. With Finn waking up soon, it won’t be long before he’s reunited with his wife, Steffy Forrester (Wood). It’s going to be a huge summer for Sinn fans.
