‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Darin Brooks and Kelly Kruger Welcome Second Daughter
Congratulations are in order for The Bold and the Beautiful stars Darin Brooks and Kelly Kruger. The couple welcomed their second daughter this past weekend. The newest bundle of joy joins big sister, two-year-old Everleigh Jolie. Read on to learn more about Brooks and Kruger’s newborn daughter.

There’s a new addition to the Brooks household, and her name is Gemma Wynter. According to People, Kruger gave birth to Gemma on Jan. 29th, and the baby weighed 9lbs, 13oz. “We are overjoyed! We couldn’t be happier!” Brooks told the magazine.
When it came to picking a name for their new baby, The Bold and the Beautiful couple asked their eldest daughter for her input. “We decided to use both because when we asked our daughter Everleigh what name she liked for her baby sister, Gemma or Wynter, she would always say, ‘Gemma Wynter.’ So it’s actually kind of sweet that she now played a big part in naming her baby sister!”

Brooks and Kruger are one of the soap opera community’s cutest couples. The Bold and the Beautiful star met his wife in 2010 when they starred in the sitcom Blue Mountain State. Kruger is also a soap opera darling, having played Mackenzie Browning on The Young and the Restless.
The couple married on Mar. 21st, 2016, and three years later, Kruger gave birth to their daughter Everleigh on Sept. 22nd, 2019. In August 2021, the couple announced they were expecting their second child. Baby Gemma’s arrival is a joyous time for the couple who wanted to give Everleigh a sibling.
Becoming a dad to another girl is exciting for Brooks. “When we found out it was a girl, it was perfect because Everleigh is just so awesome, caring, strong, and such a personality,” the new dad gushed.
Darin Brooks is busy with other projects
Aside from having a new baby, he is also busy with work. The actor is currently filming the Apple+ series Amber Brown and does voice-over work for the animated show The Croods: Family Tree. As for his role as Wyatt on The Bold and the Beautiful. That’s up in the air.
Brooks’ last appearance on the soap opera was in July 2021; since then, Wyatt and his girlfriend Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) have been MIA. Speculation about Brooks and Bowden’s status with the show has been questioned. Executive producer Bradley Bell said Brooks and Bowden are still part of the show, but they’re off doing other projects. Bell also promised a big storyline for Wyatt and Flo when they return.
