But none of those pairings compare to the drama created by her affair with Deacon. Brooke and Deacon’s relationship was shocking because he was her son-in-law. Brooke betraying her daughter Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) had a lot of fans turning against the show’s golden girl.

In a 2010 interview with We Love Soaps, Lang discussed the Brooke and Deacon affair. “That storyline with my daughter’s husband, Deacon, was pretty terrible. People were pretty upset about that. That was not a great story for Brooke. That really pushed the envelope.”

Although it was wrong, Brooke and Deacon continued their affair. When Brooke discovered she was pregnant with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), this further complicated their relationship. Stephanie had harsh words for Brooke and Deacon, then took matters into her own hands. She forced Brooke to marry Whip Jones (Rick Hearst), who agreed to pretend he was the baby’s father. However, before long, Bridget would discover Brooke and Deacon’s affair. After confronting her mother at the Big Bear cabin, Bridget returned home to tell Deacon their marriage was over before setting his clothes on fire.
Brooke and Bridget’s relationship was shattered over Brooke’s betrayal. But over time, the mother and daughter took steps to repair their relationship. As for Brooke and Deacon, their affair ended, and Deacon would eventually leave but make several returns over the years.

Recently, Deacon returned to The Bold and the Beautiful and is already creating trouble. Deacon’s main reason for coming back is to reconnect with Hope. However, she’s not the only Logan woman he may reunite with.
The show hints at Brooke and Deacon reigniting their affair. Brooke’s recent recollection of her time with Deacon has reawakened old feelings. Add in her marital problems with Ridge, and all signs point to Brooke and Deacon rekindling their romance.
