“Who needs hair, hair is dumb,” he captioned the post. Clifton has received more than 14,000 likes on the post, so far. And, according to Soaps @ SheKnows, some of his fans even suggested that he try going bald, because “he would look good”!

We’re not sure if Clifton will actually “take the plunge” and go fully bald. However, he definitely seems to love his new close-cropped look. We can’t wait to see how Liam rocks this look on upcoming episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful.

John McCook addresses the haters

The Quinn-Carter-Eric storyline on The Bold and the Beautiful is nothing if not controversial. That’s because the storyline delves into topics that haven’t really been addressed on soap operas in the past. While the world of soap operas has never shied away from lovemaking and relationships, there’s something different about the Quinn-Carter-Eric storyline.

For one, Eric is being very open about his erectile dysfunction. Whether it’s situational or permanent, John McCook’s character is bucking the stereotype of the overly virile soap opera “stud” who can drop his pants at a moment’s notice. Second, the storyline addresses a controversial subject: open marriages. Remember, even though Quinn and Carter started out by “sneaking around” and committing adultery, they’re now burning up the sheets with Eric’s blessing.

In a recent Instagram post, McCook addressed the comments from the haters about the path his character on The Bold and the Beautiful is taking. “I know there are a lot of different reactions and opinions about what’s going on here right now,” he said, “but the important thing is that you’re all watching and engaged in this story.”

McCook also promised upcoming ‘B&B’ storylines would be jaw-dropping

And there’s more. In the same Instagram post, The Bold and the Beautiful veteran said that Eric was someone he considered a “friend.” McCook said he knows his character very well, and it was a pleasure to continue to play him, regardless of the controversy around the storylines. And he also promised that the upcoming storylines would be jaw-dropping.

“I’ve seen him through a lot of different evolutions,” he said, “his happiness and his sadness, and watching him make good decisions and some decisions I don’t really agree with sometimes. But as far as this one goes, there will be a resolution one of these days.”

Rena Sofer, his co-star on The Bold and the Beautiful who plays Quinn, shared his sentiments on the storyline. “[You are] one of my favorite people ever,” she said, according to Soaps @ SheKnows. “You are grace and class personified. You know my feelings about this story, and I think you expressed yourself in the best way possible.”
