‘The Bold and the Beautiful’: Sheila Isn’t to Blame for Brooke’s Problems
The Bold and the Beautiful villain Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) is back to doing what she does best. Since returning in August 2021, she’s been creating havoc in the lives of the Forresters. Her latest target is Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), whose life is falling apart thanks to Sheila. Yet, fans believe she doesn’t deserve all the blame.

Many of The Bold and the Beautiful characters have gotten on Sheila’s bad side. Recently, Brooke’s found herself the target of Sheila’s sinister plot. Their feud started after a heated confrontation at II Giardino, where Brooke vowed to remove Sheila from their lives.
Of course, this set off Sheila’s temper, and she quickly plotted revenge against Brooke. She switched Brooke’s nonalcoholic champagne for the actual liquor. Brooke was lonely on New Year’s Eve because Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) was out of town.
When Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) arrived later, Brooke invited him in. Brooke sipped champagne and did vodka shots with Deacon as they discussed their past. The two then kissed and woke up in bed the next day, although nothing went further than a liplock.

The fallout from Brooke and Deacon’s kiss is the top story on The Bold and the Beautiful. Despite Brooke’s efforts to keep the kiss a secret, Ridge discovered her betrayal. As expected, Ridge walked out, leaving his wife in tears.
Many fans blame Sheila for the destruction of Brooke’s life and marriage. However, on Twitter, a few fans believe Brooke needs to take responsibility for her actions that night. “Brooke was aware she was pouring vodka; she even knew it was vodka, and what was vodka doing in the house? She was sober when she went along with inviting Deacon for NYE, and sober for lying about it, and using Douglas to keep it quiet,” wrote one viewer.
“Regardless of Sheila switching bottles, it’s solely Brooke’s. She had to have a pity party & drink the champagne she thought was real,” another commenter chimed in.

Sheila’s taking great pleasure in Brooke and Ridge’s marriage being over. However, Sheila may not be doing much celebrating when her secret comes out. According to Soaps.com, Sheila reveals her secret during an argument with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).
With Thomas knowing the truth about that night, Sheila will have plenty to worry about. However, she knows that Thomas will lose a lot of this comes out. If Sheila’s involvement is revealed, it’ll lead to Brooke and Ridge’s reunion and heartbreak for Taylor.
Using her manipulative nature, Sheila will convince Thomas the best course of action is to stay quiet. If Thomas tries to back out, Sheila has other ways of getting her point across.
