‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Speculation: Quinn and Carter Lose Control, So Eric Takes Up With an Ex-Wife
The Bold and the Beautiful is definitely heating things up between longtime lovers Quinn and Carter. After Quinn’s husband, Eric, agreed to an “open marriage” of sorts, Quinn and Carter seem to lose all control. This, needless to say, leaves Eric heartbroken. But, will he take up with an ex-wife to drown his comforts? The latest The Bold and the Beautiful speculation teases that that this love triangle will soon become a square.

On ‘The Bold and the Beautiful,’ Eric and Quinn’s open marriage has parameters
In previous episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful, it was revealed that Eric knows he can’t perform in the bedroom. That said, he does want his relationship with Quinn to work. So, he comes up with what some may consider an “unconventional” solution.
Eric overheard Quinn talking to Shauna about his bedroom issues. So, he agrees to have an “open marriage” with Quinn, so she can get her bedroom needs satisfied with another lover. (The “other lover” is Carter, of course.)
Not even a round of questioning from Brooke and Ridge can get Eric to spill the beans about his marriage. But even though Eric says he’s okay with the way things are going, the latest The Bold and the Beautiful speculation suggests quite the opposite.
But Quinn and Carter can’t deny their passion
Celeb Dirty Laundry suggests that the Sept. 20 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful will feature Quinn and Carter giving into their passions. Things already started to take a spicy turn with the star-crossed lovers on the Sept. 17 episode of the show, and the Sept. 20 episode will finally feature the consummation of all that pent-up energy.
To be fair, Eric knew that this was going to happen. In previous episodes of the show, he overheard Quinn talking to Shauna about his inability to keep his younger wife satisfied in the bedroom department. But Eric seriously thought he’d be able to salvage his marriage if he allowed Quinn to have her “playtime” while still coming home to him.
So, even though he says he’s okay with all that’s going on, Eric is really as miserable as sin about it. Despite everything that’s gone on, he truly loves Quinn, and wants nothing more than to make his marriage work. But the latest speculation suggests that Eric will drown his sorrows in the most Forrester way imaginable.
So will Eric take up with an ex-wife in revenge?
According to Soaps @ SheKnows‘s latest The Bold and the Beautiful speculation, Eric will take up with an ex-wife to drown his sorrows about his current wife. The outlet speculates that Donna — who has already confessed her feelings about Eric to Brooke — will serve the dual purpose of being a physical and emotional comfort to her former husband.
“Brooke tends to take the lead when it comes to fixing situations she views as problematic, so it’s easy to imagine her pushing Donna to fight for Eric should she confess that she still loves him,” they report. “After all, what better way to get rid of Quinn, than to replace her?”
There is some speculation that Eric’s problems in the bedroom are strictly Quinn-related, and not having to do with his older age. That same speculation suggests that Eric’s ED will magically go away when he gets Donna in the bedroom, and that will lead Eric to divorce Quinn once and for all. While this is all just speculation — albeit a plausible bit of speculation — we’ll just have to tune in to upcoming episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful to see how things play out.
